I mean to be fair, Gabriel was blinded by grief and sorrow but he masked it as determination to save his beloved. By the time he saves the world, he finally understood what the lords of shadow were trying to tell him. He didn't listen because he thought they were lying to him because he saw them as beings of pure evil when in reality they were doing what they were supposed to in the place of the light half of themselves. Their light halves did forsake the world by trying to save the world with the same power Gabriel was after. It's their fault the lords of shadow came to be.
Since she seen the future with the Mirror of Fate, makes me wonder why she didn't just show him his future? It would have saved her so much trouble. She might have succeed in getting him to join her. Also makes me wonder how much stronger Dracula would have been if Carmilla turned him instead of Laura.
It should have been developed for next generation but their lame ass excuse was that it started on that generation so it should end on that generation. Once Kojima Productions out of the way, Lords Of Shadow 2 was a mess.
I do like the LoS 2 but sadly it failed to attract more gamer audience than the LoS 1 and also the gaming experience IMO is a bit off somethings not quite right than the LoS 1
Carmilla told him the truth from the start. Too bad Gabriel didn't see it clearly at that moment.
I just didn't like her at all 😅😂

This game is so underrated
The foreshadowing is wonderfully done.
Anyone else notice this is the room where Dracula and Alucard fight in mirror of fate?
Yes this castle if iam not wrong becomes Gabriel's once he turns into Dracula.
@@cameronbrown3422 Yeah. It does. In fact, it doesn't even collapse after Carmilla dies; it's already chosen its new master.
"I choose life, not death and decay as you have"... 😔
If only he had a choice in the end

Crazy how usually we take this as the villians just bantering, but she was actually right the whole time
2:35
Gabriel should have staked her right then and there LOL
But she would have curled her toes and died in pain then(
7:24 Just like the protagonist of Army of Darkness said: And you got real ugly.
Why does this look better than the 2nd game?
2nd game was half assed
It doesn't. Its just more linear
Brighter colours, less dark, shadowy castle and no smugged modern city locations.
