Yo Diplex, have you ever considered doing a Battle of Castle Itter situation? I feel like that seeing your take with it being some undermanned/underarmed super fortress against a massive horde or SS and german prototypes would be cool as hell.
He should do like a legitimate actual castle Itter battle. With some Wehrmacht, and US troops holding against the remains of an SS Mechanized division. And reinforcements arrive in the last like 5 minutes.
Ugh, America swooping in last to claim the glory... just like world war 1. Jokes aside, great video. I love how far you have come and how... professional... your videos are now :) I also have an idea I hope you will read, I would love to see a British and American convoy, containing British commandos (who would have two Bren universal carriers) and British standard infantry in one truck, closely followed by an M3 half track containing American Rangers, their would also be 3 (more or less) trucks with equipment (guns and munitions ect.) and they would all get ambushed by German panzer grenadiers with a panzer IV, meaning the Allies have to get back to the supply depot with at least one cargo truck surviving, (the depot would be protected by British and American infantry, MG emplacements and a single light AT gun (the survivors of the ambush can defend too) and they have to survive a German charge (Infantry and light tanks (one medium tank like another Panzer IV) until Allied reinforcements arrive. It might be difficult but I would love to see it, and once again... Good video :)
bigmoney3656 that's why I was joking, I love the yanks... they have always helped us out, and they fought with my dad (in the gulf) and granddad (world war 2) but wwII, Britain was doing fine :)
Badger0fDeath true, if I had the time and could be bothered I would have said the same, but can this please stop... I'm not really here to cause an argument :)
I love how this is a "story" based off beating that fortress. Really cool. Also interesting that you bring M46's in since they were around for Korea though I'm not complaining. I love your version of WWII on the Western Front. Will be interesting if you do something with the Pacific front.
Great video, started watching your videos a couple of months ago, now I look for them regularly. You must put in a lot of work into these videos. Love the incendiary tank (Devastating)
That beefed up "Sherman", is the US Army experimental Heavy tank M6. It was in RnD during mid 1941-42ish. Ultimately US Army settled on Sherman mass production. There is an even more beefed up version of it, M6A2E1, 105mm gun, prototype T29 turret and 191mm armor. Tank was horrendously immobile.
the big American tank is the M6/T1heavy prototype tank, three went thru trials. but the wight of the tank ( basically two shermans ) 57 tons, and was cancelled . i kind of wish it had seen service
That "Sherman" was the M6 Heavy tank prototype mounted with a 90mm gun for some reason, I think they experimented with the 76mm gun but I did not think they tried to fit a 90mm gun on it. never was used in combat.
Hey Diplex, A good idea for a super fortress mini-series would be the Battle for Berlin. You could make the battle in 3 waves/staged, and have the remannts of the German Armies (I.e. SS troops with the best equipment the Reich had left at this point in the war) fighting to keep the Allies and Russians out of Berlin. First phase could be like open fields leading up to the city with smaller towns and such. Then the 2nd phase could be Berlin itself with fighting in the city proper. Finally, you could put the ruins of Berlin around a super fortress similar to this, make it like a make-believe Furherbunker where Hitler, and his elite guard would make their last stand. For the first two phases you could have the Russians attack the plains/towns and city of Berlin. Then switch to the Allies (Americans and British together) and have them take their turns on the fields and city on the other side. For the last phase you could do a massive combined assault with all 3 on the German fortress in the middle of Berlin. I think that would be an awesome idea as you could basically get 4 out of the 6 major factions of the war in one battle. I don't think I have ever seen that in any of your battles. Also you could turn this into a mini-series and possibly get close to 7-8 videos out of it with the final video being the combined Allied/Russian assault on the fortress since neither side could take it by themselves. I have a lot of other ideas as well so let me know if you like this one. I was also the guy that suggested the Russian and Japanese battles awhile back which I hope you used my advice, because they were awesome. Keep up the good work buddy In really enjoy coming home from work everyday and watching one of your custom battles.
Wrong again. The SS were very very VERY few in number in Berlin. It was mainly children and the infirm. Not saying they weren't there but nonetheless the German defense was heavily made of untrained and poorly equipped civilians forced to fight for fear of death or love of their country.
Yeah, and by that point the Wehrmacht was basically saying "Fuck Hitler, Let's keep the Soviets out of Berlin so our wounded divisions can surrender to the West." Walther Wenck's 9th army saved something like 9,000 Civilians and a entire battalion of German troops by going directly through the Soviet blockade of Berlin.
diplex, could you do more of these kind of battles with paper/never made tanks? I think it would be cool to see tanks like the e75/e100 going up against allied tanks like a kv-4. Thanks and keep up the good work!
The HUD is Good for people Like me who have limited Knowledge on weapons and vehicle Types, I like being able to see what something is when it catches my eye
This was amazing Diplex. I predict that your story for WW2 may see the Allies in the west reaching Berlin after hard fighting against Nazi Germany and their prototypes. I don't have an exact prediction of how long until they arrive in Berlin, maybe a month and a week.
I know it's late but the big unnamed tank is the M6 with the 76mm (maybe the 90mm on this one?), Oh and the M46 saw a little combat before being replaced by the M47
That 160mm shell is OP. And the maus is quite an overkill, maybe the howitzer could damage it but its too tough for regular tanks. Konigstiger would be a better match, still quite tough but not as OP :D
Looks like they need the turtles (you know what I'm referencing) to slug it with the Maus tanks if they ever wish to advance. P.S. Loving this longer WW2 storyline you're building here ;)
that american tank is called the M6 heavy tank, an experimental mid-war american heavy that saw limited production and no action, partly because production planners put their money on the pershing design instead. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M6_heavy_tank
DiplexHeated hey i love your custom battles...first i want to say sorry for my english because iam not the best in germany haha. i write you because i have a idea for a battle that i want to see and maybe you like it and you make a video.... imagine a forest with hills abd you make a german base on a hill with many mg positions and bunkers but without artillary and without tanks only infantry .. dont forget the sand walls and many dugs and now you send much infantry of russian/English/USA to take the hill...like the mission on cod 3 in the forrest...ah morters are allowed ;) i hope you like this idea and make a video because i am still waiting to buy this game. Big greetings Andrew
Hi Diplex, I'm a WW2 Reenactor and I love your work. I reenact the British 9 Para at Merville Battery and I was wondering if you'd mind recreating that on here. Thank you! GT
That tank you have no idea the name of is, is called the M6 heavy tank. From What i personally know and from experience this tank you show might have been like a "tusk" version of the M6 like what America did to the Abram.
I think it would be cool if you did a scenario that depicted the war as it is in the man in the high castle
Those incendiary rounds are basically mini nukes
that aint mini
ProGamerXXX their are shells bigger than that in Syria right now
Dads in the SAS and he tells me all sorts of stories
no they are more like microscopic nukes
Brandon Turnbull God damn
Brandon Turnbull doesn't he have to keep that secret
I'm supposed to sleep but this one youtuber keeps uploading videos.
is it the diplex27?
yeah the diplex27
*skip ad*
Sleep is for the weak. Coffee is all we need.
+AxioN who is the Diplex 27?
the incendiary was too OP, it was like a tactical nuke!
Tog is not best fighting tank, Tog is best party tank.
Connor Quarmby o7 HMS Tog.

Badger0fDeath not in the Pacific, the Brits were getting rekt and the Chinese had been fucked since the mid-late thirties
CancerBob CuckPants we really where not getting 'rekt' but if you bothered to read, we agreed this argument was over kiddo.
James Hartley Unfortunately this is the internet and its a dirty arena here were people will attack without reason
Diplex i have been loving the videos you have put out lately the WW2 wave/defense videos are amazing!! PLS keep making more!!!!
I love how this is a "story" based off beating that fortress. Really cool. Also interesting that you bring M46's in since they were around for Korea though I'm not complaining. I love your version of WWII on the Western Front. Will be interesting if you do something with the Pacific front.

Great uploads for the couple of days , merry Christmas Diplex
the tank at 1:54 its similar to a sherman but is an M6A1
M6 heavy tank
I found you like 2 days ago and I watched so many of your videos already you're amazing man good work!
Duplex you are always so polite, the British got rekt in the first battle
The American tank is a T1E2 Heavy developed in may of 1940. Later it was designated as the M6. 9 tanks were produced including the prototype.
The tank we don't know the name of is either a T1 heavy or an M6
Haha he said the "responsible & reasonable mature thing to do is pull out".
You right, you right.
as soon as i saw the notification that diplexgearted made this video i went straight to this
the big American tank is the M6/T1heavy prototype tank, three went thru trials. but the wight of the tank ( basically two shermans ) 57 tons, and was cancelled . i kind of wish it had seen service

Dude your videos now lookng like a TV show, i like it
That incendiary shell absolutely devastating.
"we have a gift from uncle Sam please accept".... lol i like that
the thank with no name is the M6 Heavy tank of the US Army, it was developed in 1941-1942 and a total of 40 where build of the 6 different variants
Great vid keep up the good work im a big fan!!!
HUD is great to have, nice vid again
diplex, could you do more of these kind of battles with paper/never made tanks? I think it would be cool to see tanks like the e75/e100 going up against allied tanks like a kv-4. Thanks and keep up the good work!

This back story is really cool. Plz let there be more!
Love that beefed up Sherman, should be called the sherman grizzly or the sherman buffalo
multiplayer on this map would be amazing 10/10 IGN
without the mauses the amaricans and english would have won
And without Hitler there would probably not have been a second world war. What is your point?
DiplexHeated he is whinning about the fact that the alies lost you should be used to it by now
Jibbe Burgers shut your mouth. its his video and he's setting up the defenses and attackers how he wants them
he's trying to make a fun and exciting battle for his viewers. if you don't like it don't watch the video and be quiet
BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a M6A(some number). The M6A1 has a 76mm and a 37mm cannon. The .50s were there too.
I loved the incendiary Patton fav tank by far
i thought you said you were going to do vlogs again, really enjoyed them good sir, keep up the great work
I know it's late but the big unnamed tank is the M6 with the 76mm (maybe the 90mm on this one?), Oh and the M46 saw a little combat before being replaced by the M47
+DiplexHeated The tank with the 37mm and 90mm guns was an M6.
The terrain on this map (especially in the first video) is great.
Hey diplex. That unnamed tank is called M6 heavy , originally have 76mm gun instead of 90mm. And btw it was build 40 of these beauties ;-)
very nice battles scenes. keep it up ^^
loveing the Lil war you got going on can't wait for tomorrow's one
The American tank with 90mm with the 37mm is the m6 heavy tank
love your stuff man
I like when you use the HUD because you can use the minimap
The unknown tank is a M6 built after the T1heavy because they wanted a bigger gun with thicker armor
That 160mm shell is OP. And the maus is quite an overkill, maybe the howitzer could damage it but its too tough for regular tanks. Konigstiger would be a better match, still quite tough but not as OP :D
The Panzer VIII Maus is a beast and it looks amazing
I would like to see Land Cruisers and other heavy tanks against the super fortress (naval edition). Also no hud and more low+wide camera angles.
Looks like they need the turtles (you know what I'm referencing) to slug it with the Maus tanks if they ever wish to advance.
P.S. Loving this longer WW2 storyline you're building here ;)
Nice surprise at the end!
The large heavy that you keep forgetting the name for is known as the M6 Heavy Tank built by the US
yeah another one. thanks man i like all your video. next miss one (lie). ok some other video i dont watch it yet. ok bye need to watch this.
the unnamed tank is an M6 variant developed by the american army, but not used.
T1 heavy/ M6 heavy tank that mainly preformed as a training tank
+DiplexHeated that's a 17-pounder gun on the TOG II, it'll eat most tanks it comes across for breakfast.
I'm sure you sad this earlier but what mod are you using. Also great vid ;3
Loved the Maus surprise
I dont think the Allies enjoyed it :(
Nice foreshadowing man :P
I was looking in the comments for when the battle starts then I saw this and got me excited :)
that american tank is called the M6 heavy tank, an experimental mid-war american heavy that saw limited production and no action, partly because production planners put their money on the pershing design instead.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M6_heavy_tank
The mystery tank is called a m6a1 and was a American Heavy tank and was used
Could you use the Thor mobile seige mortar or the P1500
Are there prototype tactical nuclear weapons in this mod? Like the Davy Crockett Rifle?
+DiplexHeated Does the text in the menu screen overlap and look weird because my screen does and i don't know why
Hill 400?
yeah something like that will be nice i think so :)
Eagle One German people are awesome
Eagle One i
Prototype tank was Called M6
diplex that US heavy tank is the M6 Heavy tank. it was a prototype but did exist
The big tank with the star in a circle was not a prototype it was used sometimes and it is called a 'Sherman'
Ghost Boy :/
tank at 1:57 is a "mutant 6" I believe m6a2e3* is the formal name, I think
the beefed up Sherman tank your talking about is the T1 heavy tank
That "beefy Tank" with 2 cannons is M6A1
can you maybe create a world map of allied/axis controlled territories in your MoW2 ww2
Well I just experienced a tank fanboy moment upon seeing the Maus
The unnamed American tank @ 1:35 is the M6 heavy tank. Further info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M6_heavy_tank
Here's what you can do with the HUD. If something's epic, HUD. If it isn't, then it's fine.
I really wasn't expecting the Maus.
"The uh... the uh... the uh... core heart of Germany so to speak."
Hi Diplex, I'm a WW2 Reenactor and I love your work. I reenact the British 9 Para at Merville Battery and I was wondering if you'd mind recreating that on here. Thank you! GT
That prototype tank is the M6 heavy tank
The twin 50 cal tank is called a M6 I believe
The unknown tank is either a T1 or M6 Heavy tank
The tank was called the T1 Heavy
Inciendiary tank is a bloody pocket nuke
awesome battle!!
I can't be the only one who is tired of WW2. Diplex, please do some Civil War or anything with muskets.
Krizaey yeah that would be sick
idgaf whatever he does so I'm happy I don't care but ww2 has been going on a while
Yea it has been going on a while which is why he needs to switch it up. I haven't watched his videos in months because it's always WW2.
Krizaey Your not his only fan you know, other people may want WW2 but I really don't care what he does.
DiplexHeated what do you use to record your gameplay
Diplex how about some Antarctic battles? Maybe with some German Haunebu UFO's!
The responsible, reasonable & mature thing is to pull out.
That's why I'm not a dad yet. 😺✊
You just got a like and subscribe my friend.
Did anyone else see that body being launched by an incendiary round at 10:52
That tank you have no idea the name of is, is called the M6 heavy tank. From What i personally know and from experience this tank you show might have been like a "tusk" version of the M6 like what America did to the Abram.
Hey, just so you know the tank at 1:50 was an M6 heavy tank
How do I move the mini map and/or close it? Please please please respond. It keeps on popping up in the middle of my screen~
