Crappie Day at Cherry Creek Res Denver, CO

I had the day off for the MLK holiday, so I decided to give Cherry Creek Reservoir a try. It was a cold day with temps around -10 degrees. I got started early in the AM, and found some fish on the underwater camera so I knew I was in a good spot. I was actually looking for walleye, which I found plenty of on the camera, but found the Crappie were biting! I fished the morning until my heater ran out of gas. Ended the morning with a beautiful slab of a Crappie. I had a blast in the cold, check it out!
