Use zenius-i-vanisher and look at arcades to search for community sightings of machines. Tons of local arcades, including barcades that feature imports. Seek out Round1 or Dave and Busters, they have official DDR machines in the US, at least. Still lost a ton out of the eurobeat purge but if you liked the JCore and modern rhythm game music they have you COVERED. PIU is also always a good alternative. StepManiax has a lot of classic remixes from songs you might miss from the old days.
I used to see the DDR machines a lot in the arcades in the 2000s if I was feeling bold I would join in and dance on them I'm feel a lot of nostalgia now thank you for sharing this mix.
What a trip. Now I want to buy the CD. Wish I could go back 20 years a re-play it all over again. Remember being super pumped when my local arcade got EuroMix back in 2000. Still playing to this day. Aaaah memories.
My first DDR Was Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 2 all the way back in 2004. I think I still have the CD with all the music on it I got from McDonald's back in 2004 ☺️ good memories
The license for most of the songs you mentioned have already expired, or Konami didn't see any profit to keep them anymore. Musical trends come and go, and in order to maintain space, they had to remove songs to keep the new ones. They chose the ones that they deemed too old school. Xepher (which originated in beatmania IIDX, thus not really eligible to be in a DDR megamix) and DROP THE BOMB are still in the arcades. In the case of END OF THE CENTURY, the license for the lyrics expired. Coincidentally, the songwriter for DYNAMITE RAVE is the same one for END OF THE CENTURY, which is why the lyrics for DYNAMITE RAVE got changed, as well as the singers.
@@JustLou08 that's so weird, seeing that most ddr music was just made by one guy, like D2R and End of the Century, and half this playlist is made by Naoki using diffrent stage names.
@@smeqwack7337 While Naoki did compose a vast majority of the songs, most of them had English lyrics written by and credited to other people, like Argie Phine (lyrics writer and singer of END OF THE CENTURY and the original DYNAMITE RAVE), Johnny Dynamite, and Erica Ash (songwriter and singer of Kind Lady, respectively). While some were able to stay due to less complications with the licenses (like PARANOiA, for example, since it was solely written by Naoki, which also enabled BEMANI to create new remixes of it), other songs like Kind Lady had a very complicated copyright put in place, and as such were removed when the license expired, as Konami doesn't want to go through hoops to keep them in newer releases.
They didn't include End of the Century because they wanted the mix to be enjoyable I'm just throwing shade/being silly, you can like whatever songs you want lmao
The longest an official DDR song is, to my knowledge, 5 minutes and 30 seconds, held by Sky Is The Limit - Sota F. ft. Anna, as seen in DanceDanceRevolution II/Hottest Party 5.
I wish there were more DDR machines still in arcades! Trying to play on the soft mats at home sucks!
they sell hard mats too like the arcade, maybe u can find a used one someone is selling.
11 months ago, I stapled my soft mat to plywood and have something that is close to arcade quality

I'm addicted to DDR Nonstop megamixes and you nailed all the upbeats in this mix

THIS MIX IS SO GOOD ! THX
AMAZING Mix!
Lot of bangers on this mix, great job, this is amazing
The mix is fire but honestly saying "DDR 20th anniversary nonstop mix" in between every song kinda killed it for me.
I couldn't disagree more, I absolutely adore that the creator put in the time to record those announcer lines for that old school DDR nonstop feel.
It ain't DDR without the obnoxious announcer voice. Who else is gonna call you a dancing master???
@@TheSwanies exactly lol
So so good! Only MEI could make it better
These transitions are so smooth I barely notice when it happens! So Amazing !!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
This gave me reason to exist

No D2R? No Drop The Bomb?? No End of The Century? No Captain Jack? NO XEPHER?!?..... NANI?!
it's a one hour mix, there's only so much they can do without just making it Boomer Mix

What is EZ DO DANCE doing at the end of this megamix?
Made me buy a Trf cd lol
dj koo mixed this, also, EZ DO DANCE appeared in DDR X2 so it's technically elligible to be in this megamix
It's like an extra stage, when you pass the boss song and then the encore extra stage is a song like that one 🤣
If I could choose a producer to learn about music and be like, it would be ryu star.
