I fly with a Libero harness. It’s a great harness and has lots of adjustments you can make. You should spend lots of time in a garage hanging in the thing and understanding how it all works. Practice going from upright to prone to zipped up repeatedly and practice adjusting the cleat when zipped up. Good harness setup is vital for good flying! Best.

Thanks so much!! Cold doesn’t bother me too much, heat does, tho. I plan on keep flying throughout the winter season too!

I'm learning aero-tow in Arizona. The temperature is fine right now (December). My instructor lives in Wyoming, and the school owners live in Wisconsin. They just come down here to teach in the winter. There are so few schools now you could probably throw a dart at a map of the Sunbelt, pick a location and do the same!

You seemed more comfortable in the air this time… at least until you grabbed the wire. 😬 6:36 Looking coool. 😎😆
5:53 I think turns with high bank might take me a while to get used to. 😮

Haha thank you. Yes this one was the most relaxed one in all the Eagle Rock flight so far. Air was calm☺️

Great flight! I’ve done the exact same thing with the prone-to-upright transition. My instructor told me to try transitioning earlier, and to try flying the glider for a while with one hand on an upright and the other on the base tube. For me, I was too focused on “ok now I gotta transition!” which caused a fumble on both hands. Luckily the Falcon is a forgiving glider and it was a non issue.
Per the head up head down adjustment, (remember I also fly a Libero) I find it easier to get upright for landing with the head more up, and it can be adjusted in flight, but I don’t want to try it with any other new factors, it’s a bit weird at first.
    Thanks for posting!

Thank you for the comment sir! My confident decision making is the most important thing during a crucial time like transition right after take off. I want to get myself well situated(stabilized) before going in mg harness and to prone. I’m sure with more experience, I’ll be able to transition even in a turbulent air. And yes, I have the option to adjust the clean in the air… at the moment I’m not comfortable enough to play around with it in the air. Maybe in the future. I’m going to lower it some and see how much of improvement I get.

I just left a comment but wanted to chime in here too - the cleat is used for dangle angle when prone only (feet into the boot and main hang straps fully aft on the aluminum tubes). When getting upright for landing the main straps slide up the aluminum tubes so it doesn’t matter where the cleated line is set. Test this stuff in the garage and ask your instructors about it.

I guess the GoPro really isn't gonna listen to you, is it? Great flight, the landing was really sweet as you turned. It looked so fast. Thanks, as always.

Look, I gave up on my GoPro not wanting to stop recording… It has no problem listening to “GoPro start recording” command, it just won’t stop… it must like me too much😜

Yes!! Buy your own windsock!! You are flying/landing blind. Don’t do that!!
When is flying most dangerous? When you are close to the ground.
Your launches are good. But you choose to land blind with no wind direction reference?? Why would you do that??? That’s dangerous. You are flying in super mellow conditions now but when you fly in more turbulent conditions and changing conditions you SHALL know your landing wind direction. It’s serious!

I’ve never done this but I’m saving this advice my whole life ❤ I’m sure this applies for many other air sports/landing related. Thanks

💯 agreed!! Going to Amazon ordering one! I hate the feeling of not knowing what wind is doing over the ground.

Good job! Kick your feet up!!!! That will bring your upper torso down and get you horizontal. Don’t over think. You can’t pull your body down. Kicking your feet up will fix your body angle. Promise!

So this is why I see some people kick! Makes total sense.
