One thing I’ve always liked about Keith is how his love for Becky is very real and very present (same thing for Zach and Maggie) but he never made his whole life about it. That wasn’t his whole brand.
This isn’t a new take, but in light of the recent news about Ned, it really makes you think how much of his whole “I love my wife and that’s literally all you need to know about me” shtick was him just compensating for the guilt he felt at what he was doing. We don’t know how long he and Alex were doing stuff together, or even if this is Ned’s first time being unfaithful, but it just makes you wonder.
(Also, imo, Ned loving Ariel and being a family man was his whole brand partially also bc there really wasn’t much else interesting about him 😬)
