  • Los Corales features a beautiful commercial shopping area with highly rated restaurants, shops and grocery stores. And best of all, it’s just a five minute walk from Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana. Join us as we guide you from the beach to a wonderful grocery store and Don Pio’s, our favourite people watching bar!

    I'm writing this note on Jan 25, 2024. We leave for a week in Melia Caribe in two days. We have been there before and to other resorts in Punta Cana. We regret not having watched these videos in our previous trips, but we are glad knowing that this trip would be much better. An experience 360-degree, the convenience of the hotel and the well-rehearsed care of the guests, plus the authenticity of the locals and the town. You do a great job, Andre. Muchas gracias.

    What would you recommend as a good Italian restaurant in Los Coralas

      Dolce is my favourite - for Diner and a show the Los Corales location - for a more upscale dinner experience, their location down the road at the Palma Real mall

    I understand there are restaurants and bars and grocery stores around.BUT most people go to all inclusive where you have 10 different choices of food types and restaurants at the resort. WHY go out and pay for food or drink when everything you need is at your resort?

      Some visitors stay for extended periods of time - 4-8 weeks and enjoy more variety - and many go for the live entertainment experiences

    Thanks for sharing. I have been to Punta Cana 6 times and only ventured 2 times outside of the resort.
    This is great information as i am thinking of staying in a non all inclusive next time. Can you tell me which you would recommend?

      Unfortunately I’ve never stayed at that specific resort so can’t offer any valid opinion. Lots of bars and restaurants have free wifi so make sure to ask your server for access if a password is required.

    • @PuntaCanaTravelVideos

      Nope - the Dominican Republic has the worst road fatality rate in the world, with most deaths being motorcycle 🏍️ related - best to stick to cabs

    How do the locals fell about all the haitians?

    • @PuntaCanaTravelVideos
      @PuntaCanaTravelVideos  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a complicated question if for no other reason the geopolitics at play in both the DR and Haiti. From personal observation, I’ve never encountered or witnessed any tension when in public between Dominicans and Haitians in Punta Cana. Both groups have always been friendly to me and each other when in my presence.

    What do you think, is it safe to walk alone (the same route as yours) for women? You said in video what it pretty safe? But you're a man and walk like a couple. How about white blonde thin woman who on vacation in PC alone? 🙂 (I heard some stories about people get robbed on the street). I'll appreciate ypur ansver ☺

    • @PuntaCanaTravelVideos
      @PuntaCanaTravelVideos  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      During daylight hours, given the amount of people present, I would feel a similar level of safety as a typical city in North America. Having said that, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings at all times. But in terms of this particular street, I was more concerned by vehicular traffic and narrow sidewalks than any form of physical assault. I’m not aware of any problems with respect to assaults on female tourists in the area during daylight hours.
