Red Dead Redemption is a 2010 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. A successor to 2004's Red Dead Revolver, it is the second game in the Red Dead series. Red Dead Redemption is set during the decline of the American frontier in the year 1911 and follows John Marston, a former outlaw whose wife and son are taken hostage by the government in ransom for his services as a hired gun. Having no other choice, Marston sets out to bring three members of his former gang to justice.
The game is played from a third-person perspective. The player may freely roam in its interactive open world, a fictionalized version of the Western United States and Northern Mexico, primarily by horseback and on foot. Gunfights emphasize a gunslinger gameplay mechanic called "Dead Eye" that allows players to mark multiple shooting targets on enemies in slow motion. The game makes use of a morality system, by which the player's actions in the game affect their character's levels of honor and fame and how other characters respond to the player. An online multiplayer mode is included with the original release, allowing up to 16 players to engage in both cooperative and competitive gameplay in a recreation of the single-player setting

Xbox doesn’t have a remastered report like PS that’s why. On Xbox it’s Xbox 360 backwards compatibility with enhanced resolution/performance

@@Wipebumbleno way youre serious 😂😂 this 60 fps patch was the bare minimum to make thise 50 bucks reasonable, for a game thats 14 years old. nothing to be thankful about when it shouldve been like that from the day the remaster relased. stop riding rockstars dick like a little bitch and realize how lazy they are when it comes to patches. they only patch games that are decades old like rdr1 or gtav because its easier to do. rdr2 shouldve gotten a patch just like gtav but nahh lets sell it for the full price on ps5 even tho there havent been any changes made performance wise to keep up with the newer and improved hardware of the ps5. so stop defending rockstar 😂

If I had a 4090 pc, I would get an emulator of this no doubt, run better graphics, try to get keyboard and mouse to work, this would be amazing on pc!

They can’t even hit the already extremely low bar fans set for it and gave us a cash grab port. I bought it on PS5 though so I’m part of the problem.

If Rockstar actually cared about their fans they'd put out simple 60 fps patches for both the SX version of RDR1 as well as the PS5/sx versions of RDR2.

I don't think rdr2 needs 60 or ray tracing... it looks better than almost everything else on ps5 as is. I just got the physical copy of rdr1, and it immediately prompted me to upgrade it after installing (which took under 5 minutes), and the 60 option was there right away. It looks super crisp, but the horse animations in particular still look really stiff. It's strange not being able to spin your horse in place like you can in rdr2, but you have to remind yourself that's it's a much different type of game in many ways. Rdr1 is much more of an aracady shooter than a survival rpg like 2. The gameplay is a lot more "video gamish" than rdr2, which is really like a playable film. If you've been playing rdr2 a lot for a few years, it's a little jarring. With that said, it's still really cool, and if you are playing it for the first time because you love rdr2, it's worth playing it just to get the next part of the story.
