I love it! Took a month to get to me...but it was great. I put a penny, upfront beside the battery and it seemed to help me get the CG right. Question....if this is on the flysky protocol, does that mean that I can get a flysky reciever and bind the stock TX to it to use in a small scratch build or a PNP model? If so, how would you bind and do you know which reciever might work?
There are 2 types of FlySky protocols; they do not inter-operate. The all-in-one RX of this plane should be using the "older" protocol, so you can use Turnigy 9X or FlySky TH9X transmitter to fly this plane. The stock TX is very, very, very bad. You can't really enjoy flying the plane with the poor stock TX. The binding procedure differs from TX to TX; for stock, just power on the RX then immediate power on the stock TX. For 9X or TH9X, press and hold the bind button then power up the TX.

+kenstogie, I found the error. It is at 3:29, and I had corrected the error. I added an Annotation "Brushed motor" over the word "Brushless motor". If you disabled annotation, you would not see the correction.
4:45 RED/GREEN lights on on the wrong side! Opposite of true navigation lighting on boats and real aircraft. How hard to peel off LEDs and apply reversed???
Yes, mine was the earliest version that had installed the lights on the wrong side. They corrected it subsequently. I was not difficult to fix, but I was too impatient and I ripped the wires out while pulling the LED strip off the wing. Ooops!

mine cuts out at full throttle at 3 seconds and the red led flashes and it stays like this till i throttle back full then it work again till i full throttle again. if i half throttle its ok. anyone help ?
Yes its different, your eyes are OK ;) - this angle mounting is needed to eliminate the torque of motor/propeller to let fly this bird in a straight line when you give thrust by throttle up. For example, In the past and til today, all my gas engine powered planes need this angles for correct flying !!!

After disconnecting and connecting back I tried it with the original transmitter - the throttle remained uncontrollable, all other channels are OK. Any ideas (except buying new receiver board)? ***** There is nothing wrong with the board; rather, *ALL* WLtoys (FlySky) boards are like this. My WLtoys (FlySky) helis, planes and quads will go full throttle the moment they bind to my ER9X (FlySky). Throttle hold will _not_ prevent this. This is how I solve it: Hold on to the model very tightly and allow the props to spin freely. Bind it and prepare for full throttle. Once it goes full throttle, quickly move rudder left or right to stop the full throttle. Try it. :)

Fyre SG Yes, you got it right - it goes full throttle after binding with the stock TX. It started to happen after the first try binding to the FlySky Module/Taranis and remains that way after binding with the stock TX. (I'll try your solution and report later :)
Fyre SG Tried this method - no result on the throttle - still goes uncontrollable (guess on maximum or near maximum value). I've put a voltmeter and continued testing - the value change with just a fraction of the volt (from 7.76V to 7.74V with throttle stick to the bottom and than top position - it's not a fluctuation cause I tested it several times and also inverted). The other two channels - rudder and elev are working correctly with the original TX an with FlySky Module on my Taranis.
***** That is really strange. At the very minimum, the stock TX should work fine. Do you have another WLtoys FlySky TX to try? Or can you try your F959 TX on another WLtoys FlySky model? Otherwise you may have to get another F959 RX.
Sad video,too bad you no speaka english. Mine didnt come with lights but they are wrong way anyways,red on opposite side of green. I bought my own lights. didnt come with camara eather,I already had it from helicopter v912,fits perfect into circuit board. I used mounting tape and cut off feet,those are for helicopter mount.

What problem. I just think its better to let people know verbally whats going on. Its hard to understand sign language. I would be interested in knowing about the lights. As I said mine disnt come with them. Wasnt it an BEC issue? Dynam puts leds in their planes that are totally useless. I save the wiring,remove the led's and splice in a Turnigy kit. It comes with everything you need. I bought 5 kits and am down to one. I also find them useful for models requiring navigation lights as well as an RC fishing boat I restored this summer. It is a rare German made fishing trawler called the Monica that I picked up for $15 at a resale shop. I can hear your sound so I know you can do verbal. Just try it sometime,you may get more viewers. Just a suggestion. Good video,just need to add comments.

it uses N60 brushed motor, you can find this type of motors in aliexpress for 0.8 euros

I just flew it for the first time. Yes, it's easy to fly. In fact, too easy even for intermediate pilots.

That helps, but it is a lot of work. I'd just buy spares to swap damaged parts instead of protecting them.

Tape only protects the exterior. When it crashes hard, tape will not help. It will still break. So the tape doesn't help that much.
