    I live in Sherwood Park and never go anywhere near this area. Thanks for showing this. I’ll have to take the line when it’s done.👍

    Amazing videos! I watch every minute of every one. Would you be able to do a Yellowhead Trail construction drone video? It would be cool to see how that looks from above!

      Great suggestion!, I will see if I can but do not know where the construction is. Will find out and see what I can do.

    I enjoyed watching that. Any chance you could add captions to say if the line will be elevated, at grade or below ground and for the stations. Maybe this will all be more obvious as construction advances, but there were a few points I wasn’t sure. The music choice was spot on! Thanks.

    Great vid! Another example of screwing up every major artery along its path. 111th St. is virtually unusable during rush hour. NM what the geniuses did to Millwoods and NAIT. Just further illustrates the vitriol city council has for the majority of the tax payers; you know, those who drive....

    If no 1 was working on the LRT valley line 2 weeks ago, then why give a fuck about investing in transit especially if the mayor doesn't want to invest in it. He used to be a bus driver himself in this city , so I'm just saying if the mayor doesn't care why the fuck shall we the citizens care.

    The whole line should be off the ground, not just before the station. Biggest waste of Tax Payers money i've ever seen.
    Someone fire this City council and any city planners.
    in 30 years this will be the biggest infrastructure mistake the city has ever done.

    • @Digitalsurfer265
      @Digitalsurfer265 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Would you prefer no train at all? It’s elevated there to make access to the mall and hospital uninterrupted. Elevating the whole line would cost a few billion dollars more so good luck with that idea

    • @ImpulseToAdrenaline
      @ImpulseToAdrenaline 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Digitalsurfer265 Some of the best cities in the world for public transportation don't shut down an already busy 4 lane road, to make it 2 lanes, and have a train run along the road, stopping at traffic lights. For the less than 1% of the population that uses this. For a public transportation that bleeding money like it a river going over a waterfall. They just turned a good road, into a nightmare with the only solution being "well, take public transportation then" Any good city would have known to do this years ago. But sense we're here today. Yes- they should have found better solutions. In 10 years, this will be the biggest failure this citys ever seen.

      @@ImpulseToAdrenalineI'm guessing you have a lot about the world to learn, for example how Transit vehicles can be prioritized in interceptions by the wonders of technology.
      Furthermore; you think this is a waterfall of wasting money? Have you looked at the road infrastructure costs compared to usage?

    • @ImpulseToAdrenaline
      @ImpulseToAdrenaline หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LisaMiza LOL says the person that doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. They City has said, the west line will flow with traffic, and stop at lights- just like a car would. Which is why i said it should be above the road. Vancouver, Seattle, these are a few cities that run this method with zero issue. Maybe do a bit of research before calling someone out. I'm sure you were one of the people who voted this incompetent mayor in, and just kissing his behind in the process claiming this will do wonders, not truly thinking about 25 years from now when our city population is not going to be suitable for 1 lane in each direction.
      Road infrastructure is affected by the freeze and thaw cycle. You can't do much about that living in a climate with these conditions. And when you say "Usage" - not a clue what your talking about, because for the last 50 years in this city, a car was the best method of transportation.
