- The Path to building the kingdom of God in the earth is The Difficult Path, but it is the NECESSARY Path.
God told Adam and Eve to fill the earth and subdue it. After the flood God commanded Noah to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. Jesus after establishing the church commanded the body to go into all the earth and make disciples of all the nations.
God desires for His Church to build the kingdom of His Son. The whole of scripture is about His people laying down their lives to build the kingdom of God. Everywhere you turn God was working through His people to establish His law in the earth and hold the nations accountable for their treason/sin.
Jesus is waiting patiently for the Fathers command to return and establish His throne forever. When Jesus returns He will finfish His kingdom. He will establish the law of God in the earth and hold all of His enemies accountable to it. Jesus is looking to His Church to respond to His instruction to build His kingdom.
While most of the church is waiting for the corruption of mankind to grow increasingly wicked to the point that Jesus finally comes back. I believe that the Father is waiting for the earth to become filled with His glory to a specific point before He will release His Son. What if the return of Jesus Christ is based on how much of His kingdom His people successfully build? What if He is waiting for us to establish so much of His law in the earth? What if Jesus will not return until we have victoriously destroyed and overturned much of the injustice in the earth?
Maybe we should receive the vision of the Word of God for His will in the earth. Maybe we should start to put His kingdom first. Maybe we should forsake our kingdoms and worry about building His.
