- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 6 ก.พ. 2025
- In todays video, the spring harvest begins!!!! We start by setting Father Phil up combining and then set to work baling. What started off as going to bale the straw ended up in baling our own silage to get it done and out of the way. We take a look at some of the first grain coming in.
Hope you enjoy, any questions hit me down in the comments below, thanks for watching! G'Luck

Well done to ye all for putting together such a great video to remember Uncle Ian. Not easy to do at a time like this. No doubt he’s watched it a few times and is proud of ye all.
Seen a lot more similarities with yourself ur Uncle and Father. Part of him will live through you for sure. May Ian rest in Peace.
Was down in farmer Phils last Saturday afternoon, bought some lovely steaks from Liv in the shop ,was talking to Phils sister and then met father Phil as he was bringing out the water pump for the combine ,had a great chat with father Phil and would highly recommend calling in as everyone is so friendly 🤗
Last year we called in on the way home from holidays in cork heading home to Armagh we went cross country. We never was talking to them apart from Liv, absolute lady very friendly was going to call Phil up from the farm to have a chat with us I told her not to as I know they are on top of there heads with work plus it makes a chance to call again P.S meat is AWESOME
Agreed, they are very hospitable. I have known Mother Phil since primary schools. The only problem is that on busy days when she on duty I end up having a cup of tea, and seem to jinx them later on on the day. On one occasion they picked up the leg of the rake, on another Father Phil bogged he harvester.
Great stuff
The smile ☺ on ya when you got in the new tractor 🚜
Great video Phil @ drone footage 👍👍👍👍🏴🇬🇧
Great video Phil, nice to see the harvest getting done, hope uncle Ian is doing OK as he wasn't on the combine
We are going to watch are favourites farmer’s who work bloody hard love the new 🚜 love the music as well how are pumpkins coming along. We love Ireland 🇮🇪 our favourite places of all time Ireland 🇮🇪.Good luck 🍀.
Good Man Farmer Phil like your videos.Best of luck with the Harvest
Another great video, hope you all are doing well and hope uncle ian is keeping well. After a tough year hope next year is a better one for you all.
Great you got the weather chief💪💪👍👍
Great video again Phil the Massey is looking great.
I’m sure Michael appreciated all the work you did for him. You did a great job especially with it so overgrown
Hey Phil, we noticed that father Phil was on the combine. We hope uncle Ian is OK 👍
That's the way about farming, you can make just as a great plan you want, but you can't take everything into considiration. Hope the maize yields well for you :)
Should get a double bale lifter for the back of that 6480 and one on the front for liv.
Gee must of been a while ago when you filmed this as we in the southern hemisphere just start dpring
Great video lovin the new massy
Had MF French 298, great tractor shouldn't of gotten rid off it, have a 390 useless tractor no power, also have a old 165 mighty tractor. But 298 work horse, once used it to pull a massive Deutz tractor out of a soft field, the 298 would drive up the side of a mountain .
re bonjour encore une très belle vidéo 😍👍👍👍
Brilliant video Phil 👍
Great video Phil hope you get another cut of the clover the new tractor looks the business on the baler any sign of the big 3690 miss the sound of it
Wouldn't be too concerned about yield Phil, we've a field cut with 7 weeks and you could cut the regrowth with the lawnmower here in north cork. Badly need rain now at this stage.
Class job as always phil👍
Great video as always Phil hope the tractor is going well for you
well, my own opinion on wilting grass is to have it dry but not to dry a small bit of muster on the grass to stop mold and help out in the fermenting prosses. for clover grass the dryer when you grab a fist its crispy less likely of nitergan to be inside of the grass.
Lovely video. i think the clover looks well. Should be high quality.
Busy days time to call in Robert again let him loose on the new tractor 😉
We grouped second cut with same mowers as yours got grand wilt yours got good wilt he had to speed up grouper to suit baler
Your flat out 😁👍
Good video farmer Phil
Bro should do his own TH-cam aswell when he is done school but it's up to him
Good stuff lads
Ye should buy a fusion 3 next to suit the kit
Good video Phil,
Just wondering why you bale anticlockwise round the headlands,
Surely make more sense to go clockwise especially as your looking over right shoulder to watch what's happening 🤔🚜📽️
It’s probably habit from driving the likes of the rake where you will go anti-clockwise so the right rotor which you can see easier is beside the ditch
Would a wuffler be any benefit in the group rows
Phil just a heads up I heard from a organic farmer who depends on red clover that if you open a bale u have to use it that day or otherwise it will go off
Great video Phil how’s the new Massey performing?
Hi Phil
👌
Will the bulls eat the “mow hawks” you left.
Any sign of wedding cake..Patrick in Meath
Was it not 15 .9
Maaate
Groupers are a waste of time money and weight(unless it whole crop)
If you want premium baleage that requires 40% dm and that’s not possible when it’s inconsistent under a heavy row.
I would happily pay for Tedder and then rowing especially when weather is pressing time.
As for corners with front mowers, that’s where the super steer New Holland is master class
By the way who is choosing the music,go on tell me Phil,it’s not you Ah??
Get Liv a double bale lifter
How’s the 7618 going
😎😎😎😎👍
There’s a contractor beside me phil I’ll send him down to bale your clover and you’ll have 40 bales 🤣
In a strange way I like the look of the 3075 with the crop wheels on it.
Good vid Phil for the new Massey u should get baby shark air horns
Would u ever invest in a double bale handler
Go straight to Utv Products! They'll help you out no end with your work lights + they have an office based in Ireland too
That’s what I did, very impressive lights👌👍
Indeed they are! Absolutely love mine
You would want to wash the hands if you want to keep the hands clean lol
Where the 3690 these days
In a shed beside the silage pit
😵
🙏👍🇮🇪😁💗
i pass carrickboy i saw all the gear in the field by the church
Has Farmer Phil seen the documentary about Massey vs Ford th-cam.com/video/-FEyz-MYeE8/w-d-xo.html
Pull your pants up Farmer Phil
U need to tell bro no school while combine is going
Great video Phil!
