I think the saddest part of this video is at the @8:00 mark. You were not out of line because you didn't "unconditionally" respect your husband. People have to earn your respect; it is not just given. It is sad to feel bad about this. Contrary to the popular message, the man is not always right, the man is not always deserving respect. The Man is not better in any way, shape, or form. You are both equally valid people. The Emerson Eggerichs' inspired message of unconditional respect is Extraordinarily Harmful to women and men. Women, because you are so much better than what the church tells you you are; Men, you can screw up and be a piece of crap. You are not in a position to be worshiped just because you are a man. I did read that book; it was one of the worst books I have ever read. The amount of misogyny is nauseating. I am not surprised that this absolute disasterpiece of a book inspired your sermon message. I cannot overstate how terrible and harmful his book is.
Wow, so basically only do good in your immediate community. Don't concern yourself with the problems of those in other parts of the world. You reached out and tried to do good, but your husband pulled you back saying this isn't yours....probably because he thought that you should be making his dinner.
You two are amazing!

@15:04 - god is not easily angered? Apparently someone has not read his old testament.
