This. I get that some people think we can use their tactics against them and hijack the franchise to be ours. Even if we print our own models, or whatever piracy is needed, you still contribute to bringing them popularity and success, and in turn sales through others. Why give the same people who want to see you crushed success?
If we can dominate comics (modern indie outsells modern mainstream comics), we can dominate other fields that have fallen too. At least Arch seems to be putting his foot forward for wargaming, but there's not just one conservative or centrist figure in comics. Best to see more crop up in wargaming and other fronts too.

Have you ever heard the saying "Don't let perfect be the enemy of good"? It means a step in the right direction is something worth taking even if there are still more steps to go.
In this case, the problem is removing politics in games, ALL politics. In this case, the removal of most political subjects is a step in the right direction. Do you really disagree? If one thing wrong can happen then open the floodgates and let it be a free-for-all? That doesn't work and isn't congruent to the goal of removing politics from gaming. It's taking it in the opposite direction because you didn't get what you want, right this moment, how you want it.
The solution doesn't have to be perfect and immediate. These things take time, you're failure to understand that and your desire for immediate all or nothing solutions is the biggest problem that exacerbates more issues than just this one.

There's no copyright on the themes that caught our imagination, so why doesn't someone making 3d prints come up with legally distinct lore and forget Trench Crusade ever existed?
Reminds me of the old story from the 90s about (singer) Madonna's agents trying to sue a European nightclub that called itself 'Madonna's'. They were happily throwing their ugly American "Imma sue!" weight around claiming infringement right up until the Catholic church went "Oh, you have priority on the name madonna do you?" The case died right there.
One could argue, though, that this is an opportunity for the non-woke to actually go on the offensive, and seize an IP, like the woke crowd has so many times before. It may not work, but it's worth making the effort to actually push back, for once, in a way that isn't simply letting woke/infiltrated IPs crash and burn on their own.

You could have that the crusade also has been breaching into hell and is reclaiming or attempting to rescue what souls they can that have been taken by hells forces, risking the foul energies of corruption within that accursed place. The forces of hell becoming less homogeneous and more distinctive as the layers of hell each wield their own armies against the intrusions by the human crusaders, while at the same time vying for political dominance over the throne of SATAN. Honestly, Trench Crusade looks like it’s up my alley in terms of aesthetics and dark religious themes. But as soon as they do something ridiculous like having openly trans Christian crusaders, in the name of representation; then I’m done. Mainly because that would just be silly since that would be in opposition to real-practice Christianity, especially Eastern Orthodoxy (which a lot of the artwork & themes seem to be based on). Like I could see that being something the satanic factions would be okay with tho.

Being a tradcath I have a lot to say about Trench Crusade. I do like many of the overarching concepts and aesthetics. The pilgrims are based, New Antioch is based, the raw devotion and uncompromising fanaticism is based. But the execution of the theology here completely wrong. Now I know the creators of this setting are definitely not theologians, and it wouldn't be an issue if they didn't literally put Catholicism in the game, but as it is I think I and others need to say something.
As someone in the chat pointed out in the last Archcast, this whole "Meta-Christ" business is completely blasphemous. We condemn human cloning in the first place, so to attempt to clone Our Lord (presumably using the result of a Eucharistic miracle) is beyond unthinkable and wouldn't be done under any circumstance. Further, I believe there was something about the paladins being perfect clones of Him, and one is apparently female. You see a maybe not so subtle "Jesus is trans" thing there? No bueno.
Also, the idea that eating His Flesh would turn you into a deformed mutant freak is another strike. It's conceivable that He might grant a pious soul heightened strength, speed, endurance, intellect, or perception, but would not twist the body into deformity. If the "Communicants" were altered by some other means, this wouldn't be so egregious.
Lastly, if the world of Trench Crusade were to be reality, we Catholics simply wouldn't be nearly so extremely macabre as we are being depicted, for the simple reason that it would not be necessary. Naked nuns bearing Stigmata and running around covered in blood just serves no purpose. You would have a lot of openly flagellant penitents yes, but none of this shock value BS.
The heck of it is, I want to like this setting but with these issues I cannot in good conscience participate in it. I will be monitoring its development and how it affects the culture wars however. And this setting could be salvaged with some of these issues changed and made to where they actually make sense in the context of genuine Catholic faith. But as it is, the creators of the game are - as Arch has indirectly elucidated here - real life agents of the Heretic Legions. The communists have no need of a separate faction, for communism is indeed just one cohort of said Heretic Legions.

And at any rate, cloning Christ, while a fascinating idea, would not work. Jesus was simultaneously both mortal AND divine. The divine component would be missing, assuming that the Good Lord would permit for any functional human body to form during this process to begin with.

And this is why it's impossible to tell the difference between the two without squinting, it's a game and real-world theology ought to have no bearing on whether that is proper theology within the setting. The Church has changed its stances on hard dogma several times in history, hence the Ecumenical Councils, so why not change again in the face of literal demon invasion? You're just doing what the Commies are doing and not differentiating between fantasy and what you assume is reality, i.e Catholicism.
Comments like this really bolster the argument that Christianity and its mode of perceiving the universe led directly to this communist scourge, there will be a place for Christianity in the future but it definitely won't be a universal faith; that door has been opened, the hallway traveled, and the ballroom at the other side thoroughly explored and this is where we're at now.

As someone that has had to deal extensively with christianity and the jehovah witnesses at a relatively young age there really is no reason for me to reread a bible.
I have my own opinion on religion, opinions that I seriously doubt you would appreciate.
I've pretty much started enforcing a sort of ban as when I run TTRPG's, I have put a 'No Current Thing political rubbish' at the table during session (outside is fine). I've had a few drop out, but it's made things a bit more efficient and enjoyable for the remaining players
