I have to move to Illinois from South Australia, I'm so obsessed with storms & I just don't get what I want here,I think I will look into it,just not sure if I'd be allowed to for that reason alone but I'm definitely Serious, been wanting to move there for a long time, the weather where you are is perfect, well you know!!

I was looking forward to what you captured of the derecho. The second storm was icing. One of your best all-around videos Andrew!

Thank you, Scott!! It's been a weird year, and while it sucks to see the widespread impacts it was nice to have some stimulating local weather.

Springfield, IL here. Near Washington Park area. We just got power back at 3pm today. Shout out to all the linemen that came from all over!!!! I have lived here my entire life, 30 years. Thank you for covering this!!

Thanks so much for watching! Those linemen are true heroes. It felt so good to see caravans of them rolling into town the next morning.

Central Illinois has been ground zero the past couple weeks. Did you see the major flooding in Chicago? Great video! Again, thanks for sharing.

I didn't see the flooding, that was quite a surprise!

Nice weather. How come all the weather on you tube is all the over dramatized stuff. Personally I like central Illinois weather. Long range cloud cover when you can get it with real vistas. Great shooting. I love Illinois weather. Thanks!

Thanks for watching! I love it here in the Midwest too for those reasons. I can't speak for the rest of weather-youtube. Folks get pretty excited over storms I guess, and I can't blame them. I got tired of the sound of my own voice talking over the sounds of the storm though so I learned to shut up at an early age. Just my own preference though.

It went through Muncie as well.

Very widespread storm. It was shocking to drive across all of central Illinois the days afterward. Every town has tree damage. It extended well into Indiana as well.

Nope just no. It’s weather. Was on the earth before your jesus was a twinkle in Mary’s eye. Just except he’s not coming anytime soon. No one in America is worth saving as not of you follow false prophets and do not practice anything related to the bible. Which by the way was just a book written to control uneducated people who couldn’t understand most things. Just like the weather. We’re doomed. Doomed I say!!,
