My only remaining question is "Is it an absolute Beast?" Lol. Actually thank you for this review. It was SO helpful, clear and informative. Thank you! Keep them coming!
The mesh doesn't make any noise (at least in my place). One of mines is also in a bedroom. I would only see the fans getting loud if it was in a cabinet somewhere with no air that would cause it to get hot. For which maybe the fans would go on, the funny thing is, I didn't even know it had fans in it until someone had commented about it.
I am looking into getting a three-pack, but my current setup already uses wired backhaul. Considering my wired backhaul setup, would you say the BE85 is a better option than the BE95? My understanding is that the BE95's 6 Ghz band is split to create the quad-band system, but the 6 Ghz-2 is ONLY available as a wireless backhaul option and is inaccessible by the client. Thanks!
Thank you for the great video, please can you do a review of the asus zenwifi bq16 pro and compare it to this deco be 95, it will be great videos Thank you
As soon as I'm able to get my hands on one, definitely something I will do. In the meantime, I have a few other routers I have to review and some comparison videos to make
I'll be returning the asus bq16 pro back to best buy in exchange for the tp link 95s this weekend. The Asus won't stay up with 2 nodes for more than a day. Insanely buggy and unstable.
I need your help, since you have reviewed both. If you were to just get one, would you choose the be95 (one unit) or the Archer BE900 router for a 1300 sq ft house that doesn't really need the full multiple mesh setup? I have looked and looked and cannot find a proper review/comparison of the two options. I am really looking to future proof as the only option at the house now is 1200 through Xfiniti so i won't be able to get max speeds. Thanks for your time and all the wonderful information.
WiFi 5 will be slower. Yes be95 does use MLO for wireless backhaul, it also has a dedicated backhaul as well. It’s very fast for wireless, I did another wireless backhaul demo for this one as well. The video before this one
really? I didn't have any issues. Did you try "forgetting" the network with the Phillip and reconnecting to it as a new wifi? I have to do that every now and then between different mesh systems, not often enough but sometimes I need to. Whenever I do a forget and reconnect, it works fine after that. However I didn't need to with this Deco.
eero Max 7 is a great mesh, I have videos on that one as well. The only issue was that it couldn't reach my full 5Gbps on ethernet, that might be fixed by now though?
Just got this on sale and set it up today, however Eero max 7 gives me faster speed… Any settings I should change to increase speed? I’m on the MLO band.
Question: You use local network to test wifi speed uncapped by internet limit. Why not use it as well to test ethernet speed uncapped by ibternet limit to test max ethernet speed limit of the port of the router? Just asking
I’ve done it before with other systems. It can get to the full 10Gbps assuming all the hardware supports it which I have 2 machines that can. Even on the wireless backhaul, I get incredible speeds. Check out the end of this video to see what I get over wireless backhaul. Unveiling TP Link Deco BE95 Wireless Speed Performance th-cam.com/video/-j2GJRdc2zI/w-d-xo.html
On a scenario where my isp modem is 2 thick walls from by bedroom, having a mesh system like this would give me better speed if I put one next to my isp modem (router mode) and the other on my beedroom, than same scenario with only one BE800 obviusly beside my isp modem? Wondering if a mesh system besides increasing range, also increase speed on that range comparing to a top router like tplink BE800
Is there a difference between a regular 10 GB port and a SFP+ GB port? Or is it that they’re both the same and it just comes down to your Internet provider using either port?
@@landpet ok cool and my other question is is that new Netgear Wi-Fi 7 router has a SFP combo port like the TP link? I’m trying to choose which mesh system I want between Netgear and TP link.
@@lbnycity89 Have tons of experience with Netgear routers, they have been my go to brand until now. Their network protection software is out of control. I would strongly recommend TP-link, IMHO.
Off the top of my mind, the BE95, BE85 or Orbi 970. I would need to check my results to tell you which one but all three are fantastic from what I remember.
Could we set up 2 BE95 (2 Pack) systems together ? Because we in India don't get the 3 Pack option. And my house is a 4BHK . So would prefer if these two could be setup as ONE system keeping one of these devices in each room.

I don't have a video on that. the SFP+ is for fiber type of connection. Ethernet works just fine and that's what I use but if you had SFP+, you could do that as well. Setup would be similar.
Wait, the backhoe wireless is Wi-Fi 7 between those Be95 (Be3300) that’s why it’s FAST! It’s extremely expensive, how/where to buy it the lowest price 😢

I'll have a bigger wifi 7 comparison in the future for sure

This one is definitely "Beasty" lol. No problem
Another great video m8, tny for this! I was waiting for this review.
Glad you enjoyed!
Can’t get this. It has fans in it. One of the mesh points would be in a bedroom. I don’t need fan noise from a router waking my up

Nice, I Went With The NightHawk RS700S Last Week I Love It 👍🏽
Good choice!
How does it compare to Orbi 970 from a hardware and performance standpoint? Which one is better and likely to last longer?
Netgears firmware update policy is bad. One of their top Mesh sets the RBKE960 got its last update in late 2022…
Do Orbi 970 have wifi7 backhoe between those units ? I believe not
How does TPLink compare to Asus and netgear. Great videos. Thank you.

@@voidbringeronthetube maybe it's a software issue
Seems like Wifi 5/6 is so good now that even wireless backhaul is just as fast as wired on the same bands
With WiFi 7 on MLO, yes it’s pretty amazing
