    The Woz is such a massively under-appreciated, insanely brilliant, visionary, engineer and inventor. I think it's criminal how idolized Jobs is/was for basically just being the hype man for all of Woz's creations. He loves telling stories, obviously, and that's great for me because I love learning about the behind-the-scenes history of computers and technology. I could listen to him talk for months. Thanks so much for having him on and giving him an opportunity to share more stories. We love you Steve(s)!

He is a true genius and a legend and a hell of a human being. • @June_Magoo
      @June_Magoo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Right?? These worlds colliding was never one I'd have saw coming. A great collision for sure. It is really a western idea to separate and compartmentalize life into different subjects/boxs anyway. It's all life and it's all connected. That's why someone like Woz can be friends with someone like Steve-O and it can be more natural then we might think

    I can't fully wrap my head around how truly incredible this is. STEVE-O has really developed into a deeply fascinating communication figure. Who would have thought a world where russel brand, joe-rogan and steve-o dictated such a huge piece of social discourse. The fact that woz shares a story that's so incredibly central to our entire modern world and steve-o responds with genuine warmth and depth. I really don't think woz would have told this story to some accomplished tech journalist with the same depth and heart. The man speaks like a great professor. He seems to trust that steve-o has no alternative objective and is just there to listen. The implications of what is discussed here are endless. Truly a deeply revolutionary piece of media in my eyes. Representative of all that is good in new media opportunities.

      While I totally agree with this sentiment it is easy for one to say this when they were given extreme expendable income. He got to choose to live a comfortable life over one of lavishness, which is incredibly admirable, but it would be a lot harder for someone to have this mindset when in extreme poverty. I think Steve would agree as well. I think Steve is more looking at those around him who chose success and money over friendship and happiness. I think it is an important part of the conversation.

    I used to work for Apple. I was with them for almost 7 years. Amazing company! I still hang and speak with old coworkers, even though some are states away now.
    Woz is a legend and so humble. Great content Steve-O. You rock dude, keep it coming.

    I think i like this interview with Steve W, more than others i have seen. I love that we finally have him getting down in the weeds getting super technical about what he did and how. This is the kind of guy you give some questions and then stand back and let him go till he is finished. So many other interviews he gets cut off which is frustrating. But not here, this was so great! Sound like there is much more to tell too, need to have him back. Thanks Steve-O

    Way to go Steve-O, what a fantastic interview with the Wizard of Woz. Wozniak is a legend and you are too for standing back so he could take us down the yellow brick road. Great stuff.

    This actually educated me more than everything before, my god the Woz… he’s just so great I don’t know how I can even say enough. He’s just so beyond spectacular as a human being on every level. I love that he thought of his loss of memory from the crash in such an analytical way.

    This was a great episode for sure and its why I love Steve O's podcast because Steve O brings on different cool and interesting guests on. I'm glad that Steve O brought on the woz. He was shadowed by Steve Jobs back then but now I'm glad Wozniack is getting the recognition and respect he deserves and if it wasnt for him todays tech and smartphones wouldn't exist. The Woz is a very smart and humble guy. Thanks for a great and informative episode @Steve-O's Wild Ride.
