This is a really cool idea. I also like how Sonic actually gets to sing instead of BF.
I HAD A NEARLY IDENTICAL IDEA A WHILE BACK BUT I DIDNT KNOW HOW TO MAKE MUSIC YET DAMN IT.
Anyways, great song. In my head, i replaced the Sonic 2 boss motif with Doomsday Zone, but Big Arms fits much better! (also you did the DOomsday reference WAAAY BETTER.)

For some reason, I briefly confused Metallix with the Metarex from Sonic X. I realized like 10 seconds in.
After Metal sonic seemingly went missing eggman had to resort to using other sonic badnicks to attack the freedom fighters, however they didn’t expect to receive a distress call from the egg villain saying that metal sonic had returned more powerful then before and took over the death egg, before any more could be explained the signal was Hijacked by The metal doppelgänger, now going by metallix, they warned that *THE BROTHERHOOD HAD ARRIVED AND THEY CAME TO FINISH WAHT EGGMAN COULD NOT*
I think MK2 vocals could’ve sounded a bit better but besides that cool stuff.
