AWESOME SONG AND VIDEO! Stabbing Westward has been one of my favorite bands ever since "DARKEST DAYS" I would listen to the album while reading dark comic books like "SPAWN" and "THE CROW" and yes, I have the stabbing westward soundtrack songs from SPAWN AND THE CROW FILMS. Stabbing Westward is always a favorite but, I also LOVE The Dreaming. Great Bands! Rock On Rock Stars.
I cant even tell you what Stabbing Westward meant to me, So glad i found you guys. Im sure there are a ton of people looking for you.

Looking at this title, I thought it'd be a short documentary about The Dreaming. This wasn't what I expected---but I sure AM glad I clicked on this! Glad to see Chris and the gang returning to their SW roots.
Awesome, awesome, awesome, can't tell you how much I love this. Stabbing Westward was and still is a huge part of my musical memories and favorites. Lots of memories from the 90's growing up in the Chicago area. I'm back in the same area and I can't tell you how cool it is to be able to sink into that in a new way. Been following The Dreaming for awhile now, so looking forward to what you guys got cooking up with The Dreaming. This is musical heaven to my soul.
Its not stabbing westward without a keyboard player who wears blazers with filthy boots! and boy do i miss that awesome drummer! Its nice to see Chris woke up and realized why he started writing music in the first place.. Back with those dark synth vibes PLEASE! Because god knows trent reznor kept spiraling allot further down after the downward spiral.
Absolutely love this song! Great to see/hear Walter back, he's an amazing and talented musician. The Dreaming was fantastic from the very begining but now, with Walter on board, it's a real DREAM TEAM!
Grew up with Stabbing Westward and have yet to be disappointed by The Dreaming. Seriously hope you guys are around for a long ass time, I'm a big fan of your music.
I hear hints of Wither Blister Burn + Peel in the verse and hints of Darkest Days in the chorus - both the music and the lyrics. This is incredible. I'll try to patiently wait until February for the album and for The Dreaming to tour the east coast again!
This. Yes. I've been following you guys since the 90s, missed out on getting to see any of the shows back then. Just happened to see this news for the first time and just with what I'm hearing here, you guys haven't lost a note, and the inclusion of Bost and Ashley, the sound's only going to get better. Thanks for putting this together, guys!
Wow!! I can't wait for the new album....It really sounds like ungod....really good old sw sounding!!! I love the last album puppet and glad that you guys came back together.
I love that it seems every record you guys have done as TD all have a different feel & vibe to it. I like when bands kind of change it up & do different types or styles. Certainly looking forward to this album, especially if it has a lot of this type of music on it. Great song & I love the throwback to classic horror films with the clips used. Fantastically done.
Does this reunion mean we can expect the epic, heavier, darker industrial tones like Darkest Days as well as the incredibly beautiful ballads like Waking Up Beside You on the new album next year? I don't fault you guys for being different if not because people change, but I honestly think that's what most fans have been waiting for. Stabbing Westward was like no other band. Something so many miss. Something only Stabbing Westward, even by another name, can reclaim.
Definite hints of SW in the sound of this song. Can't wait to hear the whole album. If you guys make it to St. Louis or Chicago, I will be there. Haven't seen you live since the early 2000s.
OMG this is fantastic! I was lucky enough to see one of the last Stabbing Westward concerts in Indy (some ass-wipe threw a beer can on stage and almost ruined the show). ♥ you and can't wait to hear more from you! Hope you come back to Indy soon ; )
I really can't tell you guys how excited I am to hear your new material, Stabbing Westward has been a huge influence on my music. I am currently working on 3 exclusive remixes for the band Nothing More (they sent me stems; not part of a contest), but I would LOVE to get my hands on any of your material...
A lot of people are going to be very *very* happy about this. I hope this blows up in a huge (good) way! Will Walter be a permanent fixture? Or is this a temporary collab? The sound is very SW. Is that an indication of things to come? Or is this more of an outlier thing? So many questions... Kudos again on jumping on with Metropolis! Best. Record label. Ever. I swear their name is on my bank account. '_';
Finally :D Sounds of STABING is heard. In all NEW LP I can feel conjuring of SW. Chris! For a GODS! Do it more and more, but erease monothemotic from your TD lyricx ;) If you know what I mean ofcourse.
Omg this is great! I'm not gonna lie, I get kinda tired hearing ppl compare the Dreaming to Stabbing Westward, but the chemistry on this song is AMAZING!! Are you guys gonna be redoing any other older songs for the new album?
Does anyone know if the cd album version of "Rise Again" will have 9 tracks or 10? The mp3 album version contains 10 songs, so I am wondering why the cd wouldn't have all 10 tracks? Really looking forward to this new album.
I see you guys are actually replying to your fans in the comments. That's really cool, since most bands seem to think they're to cool to talk to their fans or something. Just wondering, what are your more recent influences? Are you still into NIN even with the new things Trent Reznor has tried? I'm just a huge fan of both you guys and Radiohead, even though that's a completely different style of music.
Honest question not meant to be insulting (I know Chris didn't enjoy my sense of humor during the Myspace days...) - with the return of a more SW style sound, is there any desire to remake or regret over the changes that were made to the sound of the original demos that evolved into what made it onto the albums?
Awesome! more of this......PLEASE!
I just got chills!!!!!! Super awesome song and video!!!!!!!!!!!!
1994 called... just to remind you guys that you're still badasses.
Thanks for all the comments. The single comes out in Nov, and we will be posting a pre-order link for it this week.
The Dreaming "Official" Band Channel When is the album coming out? Hope to see you guys in NYC. It was awesome seeing you in 2012.

How many of us can relate to these lyrics? Beautiful...
really impressed, the music fits like a well worn leather jacket. Welcome back.
Grew up with Stabbing Westward and have yet to be disappointed by The Dreaming. Seriously hope you guys are around for a long ass time, I'm a big fan of your music.
I'm so happy to hear this unique sound again. I never thought I'd hear 'Stabbing Westward' music again.
The single release will also include a remix that was done by Walter and another club remix will be available that was made by Carlton.
The Dreaming "Official" Band Channel you are great! thank you Chris and Co. :D

Great to see that SW alumni still making music! I look forward to hearing more.

YAY! Please release this in vinyl! Please! I've so missed your music.
This is badass! It reminds me of the Darkest Days, days. That was my favorite album by SW. I'll def have to pick this album up!

♥ you and can't wait to hear more from you! Hope you come back to Indy soon ; )
Really like this track! Why don't you guys just go by as Stabbing Westward! I really miss that sound.
Legal issues. But what's the difference? A different name is not going to make the songs sound any better.
HELL YA
Hope they come to Louisiana

I would like to make a remix for this.-
What style remix are you thinking? We can get you the files if you want to do one.
Some club mix, or something more dark and atmospheric if you prefer, I would love to make one !.-
David Sagitario
Would love to hear your dark and atmospheric remix :)
Out of curiosity, are you working on that dark remix?
