I did very well on Jason's practice exams but failed the actual exam. I felt his course didn't prepare me well enough. Im now working on the LPI site materials before my second attempt.
Thanks mate, I have a similar opinion on Jason Dion LPIC essentials study course… not enough core grit just a basic overview of Linux on a whole personally
I'm not in the IT program, but I enjoyed using Ubuntu years ago. I believe this walk-through of the preparation & course will be helpful to anyone needing to pass this cert. exam. Solid video!
The biggest tip is to install a copy of one of the Linux Operating Systems on an old computer or as second image. This way you can really get a feel for the commands and OS. That really helped me as I had limited experience with Linux before starting the class. Good luck mate!
Thanks for your honesty and I am totally agree focus on LPI material other then buying courses.
I am taking the LINUX essentials on Sunday and boy was this a huge help! just what I needed thanks for making this video.

Good luck Nikki! Reddit WGU can be a super helpful resource as you go through the program.
Great video. I watched a few of your others also. Very informative.
I’m taking this exam December and I have no skill on Linux or others
