Iconic Drum Intros "Don't You Forget About" me by Simple Minds

In the first of a new series of lightning drum lessons, learn to play the drum introduction to "Don't You Forget" about me by Simple Minds as featured in the Argos Christmas advertisement 2019 and the classic 80's film "The Breakfast Club". The Drummer on the original was the incredible power house drummer Mel Gaynor.

Just took delivery of my first electric kit. I’ve been practicing on a desktop machine since Xmas but was inspired by Ian’s videos to keep practicing and step up to a kit. The Argos Xmas advert is what started my interest in the drums, I hope my 3 year old daughter follows in daddy’s footsteps 😀
