Great to see another Survivor reaction. This episode does definitely go down as one of the most infamous episodes in Survivor history due to the reason you're probably thinking of.
Ooof... yeah it's rough ngl! I saw it coming a mile off and honestly, he deserved to get called out for it!

I would recommend season 13 then 16
This is what I meant by the season taking a turn for the dark… yikes. It sucks that this caused something that affected a casting decision in the future. You’ll understand when you get there.

You should definitely skip seasons 9, 10, and 11 for now, as they aren't that interesting, and move on to season 16.
However, S16 is a returnee season. So before that, you can look into seasons 12, 13, 14, and 15, as the players will be returning from these seasons (also S7).
You can definitely skip Panama and Fiji (Seasons 12 and 14). There are only 2 returnees from both of these seasons, but Cirie played on Panama, so you might want to watch it if you wish. Fiji is incontestably one of the worst seasons ever.
Season 13: Cook Islands features Parvati, aka the princess of Survivor, aka the birth of a legend.
Season 15: China. (One of my absolute favorite seasons; it's very dramatic and funny.) You must definitely watch it!
I do want to watch every season, and I HATE watching things out of order (I'm so weird like that) but I defo will get round to those seasons at some point! But thank you so much for the recommendations!
If those seasons aren't that entertaining (and I can't make them entertaining) then I'll just edit multiple episodes into one!
