3. Using Euler’s formula, Find the critical stresses for a series of struts having slenderness ratio of 40, 80, 120, 160 and 200 under both ends hinged condition. Take E = 2.05 * 105 N/mm2.
A hollow cast iron 5 m long column with both ends fixed is required for support a load of 1000 KN. If the external diameter of the column is 250 mm, find its thickness. Take working stress as 80 MPa and Rankine's constant as 1/1600. Solution please
Sir in the rankine load formula . Is it necessary that we have to replace the Original length by the Equivalent length? Can't we solve using original length? Meaning sir if we use relation between equivalent and original length for a particular case meaning one end fixed and other free (consider). The results using equivalent length is different as compared to using Original length!!
I am an architecture student thanks for explaining numerical so simple and clean, could understand and solve other sums much faster after this video
Thank you sir you are my favorite teacher on this plateform sir .thank u so much sir
Thanks for your video
Sir really you teaching style is osam A great thank you sir
Nice explaination sir ❤️
Awesome 👍👍👍
Very helpful vedio.
Thank you sir.
😍😍😍😍😍masss
Excellent
Sir hats off to you.
From where u have written the value of young modulus ? Is it given or. ....?

In rankine if u want to use effective length then the formula will change on the basis of their connection.
One fixed & another free in this condition: Le = 2l
@@sailendranathpal8 ok sir 👍🙌🙌
