😂😂😂Great idea using the mixing bowls for hubcaps! The truck looks so much better with the black rims and moonies! I once used an enamel cooking pot and lid as an air cleaner housing on a 1940 Hudson. I am going to get some bowls and do your trick on my trailer wheels so I'll be posting that in a few days or so. I powder coated the wheels on my old truck and my little trailer wheels (Snow Bear) looks kinda crummy now. A nice paint up and baby bowl moon caps will be just the thing. If you want to see my box window there are two parts but this is the main video: th-cam.com/video/B14Qp84EW4g/w-d-xo.html Talk to you soon, Bobby
Dont forget to whitewall the tires with white Flex Seal 💪🏽
I like your style Diff , I watching it again. Lol like 6 times over the last few months . Lol your awsome man
Thanks brother! Appreciate
I like your Baby Moon hubcaps. Nice cheap upgrade.
Glad you like them!
Hey nothing wrong with budget builds that is most of us mechanics/car collectors that is why I do majory of my mechanic that I can on my own
One major budget repair I did was a vacuum valve assembly for a 1981 300d using a block of aluminum I fabricated to make the valve using o rings and springs from homedepot (a home repair store in the usa) and that is just a few.
Greetings from Texas
Hello James from Texas! I think you are way more clever than me!😅
It was amazing my friend, I love adaptations!
Thanks!
Haha I actually met an old hot rodder 9 years ago that had the same thing on his 50s Chevy. I asked if it was mixing bowls and he said I was the only one that has ever guessed it. Genius idea man. Keep up the good work 👍 from Missouri.
Thanks Kristin from Missouri! Knew there had to be someone somewhere who tried this before.
what a great idea for hug caps, they look fantastic
Thanks man!
I think it works. Looks like a cop cruiser.. not too shabby.
Them hub caps looked pretty good there Diff great job once again brother xx
Thanks 👍
What a Difference a Few Details Make!... Thanks for Sharing... Brother and Keep Up the Great Work
Perfect timing Div! 😆 I just got up for work, and can sit down with my coffee and cigarette and enjoy this episode first!......the wheels look great 👍🏻 mooneyes vibes....
Bonza matey! 🤙🏼🇦🇺
Cheers Div! ☕️ 🚬
Man after my own heart. I need a coffee and a smoke to wake up too!😅 Bonza bru!
Awesomely done Diff mixing bowl conversion hitting the hi-way with your wife's Xmas pudding getting a lekka mix and will be ready for the oven.
HAHA!
😂😂😂Great idea using the mixing bowls for hubcaps! The truck looks so much better with the black rims and moonies!
I once used an enamel cooking pot and lid as an air cleaner housing on a 1940 Hudson. It was hilarious and a real conversation starter. ( The video about that is on my channel if you are interested 😊- “ How to mod an air filter on a 1940 Hudson “)
I like that cooking pot business! Right up my alley.😅 Gonna check out the vid!
Love it ! good job, that's thinking outside the box at it's best !
Thank you!
Looks cool man keep up the good work trucks looking great
Thanks iceman!
Great idea!! I don’t think I would ever thought of that!! 🤛🤛
Thanks! 👍
That's a great idea and it looks really nice. I think if you paint the running boards black and paint just the fenders green and keep the rest rusted that would look different.just a thought since you hate painting lol.
No man, now you talking WAY too much painting!😅
@@ratrodsafrica yeah I hear you just a thought. I saw your salad bowl hubcap idea and my OCD kicked in 😂 it's all looking good.take care.
Yes I did it the only trouble was the mixing driving down the road
Looking great, those hub caps look great man, it's getting closer and closer, the truck's great, all the best to you and your loved ones, have a Lekka one
Thanks brother!
They turned out sweet 👍👍
Thank you
Perfect job.....who ever said that you have to follow the crowd, I think you might have started a new trend.....Subscribed
Thanks for the sub Roy. Welcome to my shop!
The impossible glue on the price stickers is intentional. If you can't peel it off, you can't swap the price tag from a cheaper item.
Ah! That makes sense. From their point of view 😅
Why at the dollar store tho? Everything’s a dollar.
@@forestfishburne7900 🤣
I really enjoy your videos! I restore cars in Canada. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you like them! Thank you
Diff that is brilliant!
I know you hate paint, but that really is cool! I am a huge fan of taller tires in the rear.
Awesome job my friend!
Just think, when you put on the stainless hardware it will even better!
Thanks Machine Dr! Cool name!
@@ratrodsafrica
Thanks Diff!
Looking forward to the next one!
I’m impressed, I think it’s a winner.
Thank you!
Absolutely brilliant, well done Div! 👍 When you mentioned those bowls in the last video I was wondering if you'll turn them into some sort of lights, but this is just plain awesome 🙂 Personally, I love the combination of satin black wheels and shiny center caps, used to rock this combination on my old Merc back in the day and nowadays I got this (factory) setup on my CrownVic plus some additional trim rings. You nailed it, it does go very well with your truck for a very reasonable price 😀. Also, congrats to all those new subscribers to your channel since the last months! Easily one of my most favourite yt channels - always a must watch whenever you upload another vid. Have a great week!
Thanks brother!
You gave the mixing bowls a far better life than being abused in the kitchen. I am all a favour for these mods. It is far better to chase 'old school' than to chase technology. I want to run old school style rims on my COE. You never know I might find something else in the kitchen I could use.......LOL
Oh no, sounds like you gonna have trouble with the wife!😂
Great idea!
Thanks!
Really cool looking truck, like the moon cap idea.
Thanks my man!
Now its name can change to "The HubTub"
👍
That would be "the other wrong way I expect". That's a great idea, wish I'd thought of it a couple decades ago. Great idea, thanks for sharing this idea.
Pleasure John!
Good idea 💡
Thank you! Cheers!
@@ratrodsafrica you're welcome 😁
