I also have taigun gt+ as option. Will the car be worth for 25 at this time. And I’m taking petrol 1.5 turbo. Some people saying car is very under powered. That is y confusing
ZS EV and Astor both are build on Monocoque so safety standards were not compromised just like Maruti 😅

Sure will try to include subtitles in future. what is said is, I been to couple of hillstations with astor. it is same as driving every other car. you need to use 2nd and 1st gear at times. doesn't mean that the car is underpowered. as even with other cars which are lighter than astor ( i20 & kwid) , I down shift to second while claiming

Maintenance high nu soldranga, spares parts cost laam rombo high. Also spare parts availability laam rombo low. Is it true? Ennaku car la doubt eh illa bro. Vera level car. Best in the segment nu solluvan. But Car vaangitu service kevalama irundha 7-8 years ku suffer pannanum. So konjam idhuku answer kuduka mudiyuma?
Chennai la ambattur and guindy la service iruku bro. MG cars are very limited.. not like hyundai. so this 2 centers are sufficient. na vangi 2 year aagudhu. 3 free service over.. they will pick up and drop. I had complaint with Mist formation in headlamp. even for that they picked up and fixed. so far no issues. good service. spares are same as hyundai

romba lag aguthu nu solranga with 5 passengers with huge luggage ,its not perfect for hills for regular drive? i'm planning to take MG astor because these reviews i got confused.

Hill driving nama driving style poruthu bro. before launching a car they'll test in all Terrain. with 5 passengers I went to kodaikanal chikmagalur wayanad.. I was able to drive it. while climbing put in it second gear, if you are resuming from a stop to climb, use first gear. no issues at all. I donno abt other cars. may be diesel cars could climb in 3rd gear. but for petrol I had no issues

Normal ah Ella car um ea 1st and 2nd gear la dhan hill climb aagum. Stop Pani move padrapa kandipa 1st gear la dhan move pananum apadhan adequate power kedaikum. Silaperu fast ah poganum nu 3 rd shift panuvanga lack of traction and due to uphill gravity engine response irukadhu. (Kola kola nu vandu elukkavea kasta padum) Adha udanea vandi sari illa hill la poga matikidhu nu solliruvanga.
Na 1st time creta hill la drive pandrapa diesel varient layea andha lagging irundhuchu. Then I understood it's not about vehicle's performance. It's about the driver's skill and the understanding of physics. Also 1st bayapadama vandi ottanum.
Nice video ji and it clarified all my doubts. I am actually planning for this vehicle for the base variant. To be honest I haven't shortlisted this car but after seeing the 2024 features the base model Sprint variant is value for money I believe. But I am hearing that the after-sales service is bad for MG Astor so please clarify on this. Also, I have visited the same Ambatur branch and I really loved Astor a lot. I am actually waiting for XUV 300 2024 facelift as well. Please share your thoughts on XUV 300 facelift 2024 (offcourse it is not yet launched so we are not sure about the cost and features) vs Astor. Which do you think is value for money?
The reason I went for Astor is its road presence ji. it's road presence is obviously as luxurious as hector and xuv700.. As of now the service experience is so good. I'm yet to experience paid service.. and after service follow is also good. I'm not sure abt the looks of xuv 300 so can't comment abt that. but it must be power than Astor bcz of turbo engine and build quality is equal for both

No. It's not a Fiat engine. MG's is a separate engine by them. In fact Tata Harrier and Jeep campass share the same engine from Fiat 😅

Mileage is the biggest problem, for me it gives only 12 but its becoming better nowadays so check it thoroughly before buying it.
@bharathkumar8183 Yes. But from what I have seen and heard, 1.5 litre segment vehicles mostly have this similar milage figures. A seltos owner said he is getting single digit in the city. and similar case in creta. Not sure about the germans . Do subscribe.
How is the ride quality. Is it bumpy
The suspension is on the hard side.. as expected for a suv .. I drove it on rough roads and hills .. it is reasonably bumpy .. in highways it's very smooth

I agree. But if you are looking for close to 18 kmpl mileage, I suggest you consider hatch backs like i20 or compact suv. Because most mid size suv are giving milege like Astor unless it’s diesel or hybrid. The weight and build quality influences mileage
