The way you held your hand at the start of the vid, its like you're preparing the people for whats about to come 😂
maybe? Actually, the studio was too cold 🤣
This comment is the beginning of a NEW era, because people don't yet know what is about to come. Traum WILL be one of the biggest chnalles out there with Rousseau
I wish you all the best! Keep going!!
@@kapixon8869 except about 100 time better than Rousseau in all aspects of piano playing
Alexis Mandelias Agreed. Rousseau doesn't play with a lot of emotion on most of his videos, it feels robotic. I also dislike his tendency to prioritize shitty pop song covers over actual piano pieces, but that's just me.
Its impressive, but I cant even imagine how hard it is, even He lost pace towards the end of the piece its insane

@@priya_kristelkhan nah it somehow makes is look slower than it is if you dont watch the video but only listen to it it sounds way faster

You think Chopin is a joke to you?
Lmfao 🤣
I think this might be my favorite interpretation so far! Your playing just comes so naturally; there is no forceful interpretation or playing here.
Thanks for great comment!!
Learn sheet music btw if ur starting off my brother and I both play and he learned it this way and now doesn't know how to read sheet and how to hit notes when he needs to its kinda funny cuz he played ballade no 1 in the same tone
tiffany poon, Evgeny kissin are the best ones I've heard
@@Madness801 agreed although visualisers can be a viable option even with years of practice I am barely able to keep up with etudes when i watched the videos.
Learning sheet music is definitely great in many different ways and even if you already have lots of experience using the visualiser it doesn't hurt to at least try using sheet music it makes it so much easier
I did not speed it up, you can check the numbers in my second work on my channel where I performed "torrent" after a long rest of 3.5 months.

Not many people realize that your actually playing even faster than some of the best performances of the piece ( I think on the same level if not better than Tiffany Poon’s interpretation)! @@TraumPiano Traum I think I was telling the boy who wanted to learn the piece you played (chopin opus 10 no.4) hahaha
@@TraumPiano I'm learning this piece at the moment and I'm pretty happy that it's a short piece lol
This piece is probably my most favorite chopin etude from op.10
There's something, I'm not sure what. The strings, the pedaling, or simply the emotion and ferocity he adds to this piece that make it sound just incredible.
I can hear every note, this is awesome
Incroyable!!!
It feels like I met Chopin!
Very impressive!
Best interpretation so far on TH-cam!
this was absolutely perfect!
absolutely insane talent, obviously enormous hard work for many years as well, not to minimise that - but on top of that you have absurd talent. people comparing this performance to kassia are so far off, while kassia plays at this tempo, the difference in the clarity of each note and the musicality of your performance and kassia's is huge. really, really impressive. and you have a broad repertoire as well. one of the best performances of this ive ever heard.
i don't blame people in general, but it does (undeservingly, maybe) irk me when people can't differentiate the level of skill and musicality between other YT pianists and Traum. Not that anyone's trying to one-up anyone else, and we're all just here for the music, but...I can't help it! Kassia for me is miles ahead of Ross, Traum is lightyears ahead of both. But they are all playing at the 0.1% and have different content focus/audience.

This is a perfect piece for beginners. Slow and beautiful. Might be hard at start but after a little time you use to it.
It's a little too easy for a beginner. I played this 10 years ago as my first piece.
@@immortily1673no joke, this etude is actually decent for beginers
Wow such an amazing performance and interpretation, I’ve recently been trying to take on this piece, so I was wondering if you had any tips on how to practice and master it, thank you! ❤️
it's a piece that comes pretty natural to the hands, practice your technique by playing slower and gradually build up, I guess it's not really much use 1 year later 😅 but that's how I went about learning this
The slow synthesia makes this very satisfying to watch.

Perfect pedalling. Everything is crystal clear, your runs sound like water.
Not perfect pedMing also tempo variates way to much, powerfull beginning but the tempo is off, playing way to fast. This performance wouldnt make it to quarter finals in a competition.
@@alecedman1702 Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that it aligns better with my interpretive preferences. I feel like good pianists often get slighted in competitions anyway
@@conman0414 I see
I’m listening to this while on the treadmill. The fast tempo plus me telling myself Chopin will be disappointed with me if I stop, the same way he was with Liszt and nocturne 1 is great motivation 😂

Your first video?!? Way to make an impact!
Amazing!
I think this piece is quite underated, not for its technical challanges in which I honestly think its a bit overrated but musically. I think this goes for almost all of his etudes altough some of them are obviously more melodic and lyrical than others (this one not being one of the lyrical ones) but if you try to actually listen to this piece and make sense of it, playing it slowly in your head to me at least a meaning greater than just its technical difficulty emerges it is a piece which has not a conversation between the left and right hands but an absolutely brutal fight to death where the left hand eventually wins out with the c# minor octaves at the very end. You hear the anticipation which is released in tiny bursts giving a sense of anxiousness which I believe was the feeling Chopin was trying to convey this is in stark contrast to something like the 3rd scherzo where there is anticipation similar to this but is released in a huge amazing outburst right at the end of the piece ending on well exactly the same notes as this piece if I'm not mistaken. Amazingly fine slight contrasts in dynamic and articulation also make a huge difference making this one of my favorite interpretations yet. In the beginning I interpret the right hand as the first character the victim (possibly Chopin himself if you want to go that far) and the left hand as the agressor, now the characters switch hands a bit but they are both relatively easily recognizable throughout the whole piece. Character 2 is really this annoying scary unavoidable figure that I believe most of us if not all have enountered in one way or another that is nagging in the back of our heads with self doubt and self critisicm. Character 1 I see throughout this whole piece attempting to escape from character 2 to become free but always being dragged back down. I imagine the right hand movements to the upper register being character 1's attempt to gasp for air before being dragged down to the depths again by character 2. When you start noticing it it is hard to let go of the thought and to me at least it really brought a new perspective to the piece that I havent thought about before.
Beautiful!
This is amazing
