    Great informative video grace! Thank you. Would you mind sharing where you chose to live in the first two years of med school ? You said you had two other housemates - does that mean you shared your room ?

      Glad it helped! Sunway Monash Residence is a good choice because they offer single room options

    Hi there! This may be an odd question, but I was wondering if you’ve met anyone who’ve already done their undergrad/postgrad in other degrees outside of medicine/biomedical-related, and now pursuing medicine?

    • @GraceJournals

      Helloo, no, not really (only from my own experience) , but I've heard of people doing that

    Hi will you get a Australian license automatically when you graduateand get a job there? without going through any exam?

    • @GraceJournals
      @GraceJournals  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, no unless you do your housemanship in Australia, but yeah the lecturers told us that quite a number of students from Malaysia managed to get the position in Australia

    Which Malaysian Medical University provides internship for international students?

    • @GraceJournals

      Hi there, I'm not sure since I'm a local student, but you can always contact the international department of your desired univeristy to confirm about this, all the best!

    How many people are there in each class for medicine?

    • @GraceJournals
      @GraceJournals  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      About 12-13 per group (our classes run based on groupings)

    are practicals difficult? is there enough guidance for lab sessions?

    • @GraceJournals
      @GraceJournals  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! For Clinical skills, it really depends on the tutor whether you get enough guidance or not, but you could always request for more help, overall it's not difficult. As for anatomy practical sessions, since it's all about memorising the parts of the body, self study is very important, that would be overwhelming at first but the guidance will be given if requested too

    hi do you know how hard it is to do an internship (pgy1) in Australia from your campus?

    • @GraceJournals
      @GraceJournals  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, from what I heard, it's not that hard actually. Our lecturers said that there's plenty of students who did their internship in Australia after studying in Malaysia. By the way, we will have one of our clinical rotations based in Melbourne during Year 5. Hope these info will be helpful to you :)

      @@GraceJournals hi grace! so you didn't get a scholarship based on your MUFY grades but instead your SPM grades? do you mind me asking how much the school fees are for med school in monash malaysia? i think it's way cheaper than the course in monash aus right?

      @@dunnowhat4910 for mufy there's a high achiever scholarship that deducts I think rm5000 per year of tuition fees if not mistaken, I didn't take that because I alrdy have full scholarship from Jpa, and yes that's based on my SPM results, but I have to achieve above 85% in MUFY to continue the Jpa scholarship
