Every single medical college or universe have different SKILL, I've been treated by different student from whole different college and university, sound funny but its happen on me, I get treatment on hospital for 2 year's and the posting students keep changing, but I got different treatment from Korean student... Nobody student touched my chest but she the only one person brave lol😅😅😅 She in charge me from the day I admit till discharge... The problems only one she cannot understand Malay languages and even English cannot spoke well... Mostly she wrote into paper and let the patients read it😅 And on her team all like pop star lol☺☺ with light make up and hairstyles its made patients comfortable ☺☺☺

You are right hahah honestly people sometimes underestimate how important it is to have passion in what they do before choosing medicine , that’s why they get fatigue or drop out halfway. I believe everyone have things they are good at and same goes to you ! Thanks youu 🤍🤍

Hey there , I am glad that it helps !! Usually after IMU , you are able to choose wether you wanna continue your housemanship there or back Malaysia . But if you are an international student, then unfortunately Malaysia does not accept international students for our housemanship.

Hey there ! Thank you ! For pre clinical years we will be in bukit jalil campus, for clinical years depends on which track you choose . For local track, it will be in seremban campus IMU .

I have a few queries if u could answer them it would be highly appreciated. Im from Bangladesh and I will be applying to Medical Universities in Malaysia.I have given my O-levels and As-level(Advanced subsidiary level) which is the first part of A-levels and I will be giving my A2-Level in 2022 May/June so
1)Can I apply with only my Olvl and As-level results along with IELTS and SAT this year like right now?
2)For internatonal students, can we do our internship and housemanship in malaysia after graduation?
3)For Universiti Malaya can one apply without giving BMAT or does one has to have given BMAT?
4)How is NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY MEDICINE MALAYSIA for international students?
5)Are the medical degrees from universities such as AIIMST and IMU recognized globally?
6)Are international students now( after COVID) given scholarships and financial aid in Malaysia for medicine?

Hey there ! Sorry for the late reply
1. if I am not mistaken, you are able to apply with your mock A-levels results ( include your As-level results as well ) . As for application dates it varies from different universities so it depends on which uni you are aiming for .
2. As for now , Malaysia still doesn’t allow international students to do their housemanship here .
3. Based on their web , you could apply without the BMAT results first and then sign up for one after your application.
4. Sorry but I am not too sure of Newcastle university 😅
5. I think it depends on which country , for example if you got your degree from imu MBBS , it is only recognised in some countries ( India , Sri Lanka etc etc ) and not countries like UK or Singapore . As for aimst it is similar .
6. Unfortunately most of the scholarships offered by the universities are mainly for local students only , but there might be some financial aids now that there is COVID .

Hi there , sorry for the misunderstanding but yes they do accept international student . What I meant by purey local is that their course is done mainly in Malaysia , unlike some universities who offer credit transfer or partner medical school where you can finish your remaining clinical years in other countries. However, from what I heard , sunway monash may offer opportunity to go Australia during your postings. Hope that helps !

I think it depends on which university you are planning to apply for . For some university, they will allow it as long as you took biology in A-levels

Internship is guaranteed to international students in Malaysia? Im Indian citizen Because in order to apply intern in India after medicine studies it’s compulsory to do internship in the foreign universities where studied
Hi there ! Sorry for the late reply 😅 unfortunately Malaysia still does not allow international students to have their housemanship done here . However , if you choose to go to a partner medical school, you might be able to do your internship in that country .Not sure if it will help but I do have some friends here who are also from India and they are currently doing the local tract .

In Malaysia, will international students get their degree after 5 years of MBBS without doing the internship? Since, international students aren't allowed to do internship in Malaysia
Hey there sorry for the late reply , yes international students will still be able to obtain their MBBS degree because during our clinical years , all of us will be exposed to hospital settings regardless your nationality.

Hey there , unfortunately Malaysia don’t accept international students for internships (housemanship) after graduation . So international students will have to do their internship back in their home country 😅
I study in CBSE Board and I want to take admission in UKM University... Its tuition fees is 100K USD as you said but what about other costs such as accommodation, etc.
Sorry but unfortunately I am not too sure of this as accommodation fees really varies depending on where you stay . 😅

Hi there , no we don’t have a gap year at imu but you can apply for one to do research , complete a biomedical science degree or maybe defer 😬

Hi ! It depends on what track you choose, if it’s an partner medical school track where you can go overseas during your clinical years , it would be 4.5-6 years . If you are doing the local track ( Malaysia ) it would be 5 years ( provided no delays ).
