That assumes we have several main characters like GoT. In TWD, Rick and Carl are the only confirmed main characters. Everyone else is fodder.

Shit man, I didn't even realise how similar Carl bashing in the kids' heads with the shovel was to Negan smashing Glenn's head in with Lucille. In combination with the "fuckwads" line, I think you're right that Carl has picked up a lot of Neganisms. His visit to the Savior compound, their conversations, and everything have clearly had their effects on the boy. Awesome video.

You can only offer your enemies the other cheek when it's not civil unrest from inside your own group. I would've silenced those parents and ousted them after proving their kids instigated that ass beating. They could've killed Carl with that assault to his already messed up head, and Carl is trustworthy and pulls his own weight. He's an asset.
Carl better get his goddamn hat back.
I wouldn't say Carl is the next Negan.
People have been gunning for Carl to go bad or to somehow end up psychotic for years and he always proves to have humanity. In the issue where he beats those kids he talks to Sophia about how she helped him see the tragedy of what the walkers really are. During All Out War when Carl's friend Mikey loses his Dad, Carl tells Mikey that someone is going to convince him it's better to become numb and stop feeling negative emotions but Carl encourages him to hold onto sadness because it's too easy to lose it. Carl was essentially giving that kid advice on staying human. He was telling this kid to embrace even the negatives because being numb to it is worse.
However, Carl is more *practical* than Rick is, I think. Which is a very strange combination, if you think about it. Typically kids are the idealists and grownups are the grizzled realists. But Rick is trying to make a better civilization than what came before. He remembers all the details of life before. Carl was only a kid of 7. When he's an adult the time of "normalcy" will only be in vague memories. So for Carl this will be almost entirely his life. In this weird way it's made Carl the more pragmatic one. I'm not discouraging Rick's leadership here at all either, don't misinterpret. It's good that Rick can be idealistic at times. It inspires hope. But where Rick sees opportunity I think Carl sees a problem. Carl would rather destroy a problem while it's developing than allow it to reach devastation. Rick wanted to keep Negan alive so he could be a symbol that they don't kill when it's not necessary. Carl merely wanted to kill him and be done with it.
Carl will be a good leader, though. He won't be Rick but he will be a good leader in his own right. In the newest issue he dived further into a burning mansion to save the lives of others, even pushing a couple of people out of the way of a collapsing roof. He's brave like his father. He's given commands, saved lives, ended lives, and has been living in a "war" since he was 7. He's smart. One day he's going to be an amazing leader. Probably a little more ruthless than Rick... but certainly not Negan.

Just fyi a girl flashing a couple boys when they are kids isn't rare. I can think of a few examples from my own childhood (In fact I remember one who liked to lift up her shirt in the school yard, one who liked to lift up her skirt and one who would pull down her underwear in the school bathroom if asked to, and those are just the first 3 that came to mind) and it had nothing to do with a zombie apocalypse or having a traditional school system. It's just a thing some kids do.
I'm literally at a point where I don't know where Kirkman can go after this story arc. It's that damn good

You left out when Lydia tongue punches Carl's eye hole, which is understandable, but that was the part that solidified Lydia's genuineness toward Carl. I wasn't sure if she was just using him until then. It also helped Carl in terms of him accepting his disability and becoming less ashamed of it. Absolutely loving your Walking Dead series and I need more

There is something I would like to bring to your attention. The tactics of the Whisperers are derived from war. If the enemy wears the same clothes as the innocents, you will not know whom you are fighting. Think of the actions of the Vietcong in Vietnam and as recent as Iraq.
