Once I saw there were no include "P" Settings in the Manual, plus all the messages and calls I got asking how to get their DTX LTD moving and how to set the "P" Settings.
I knew I had to take all my Dualtron knowledge and experience to identify the Ey4 Display "P" Settings which you've probably noticed are completely different than Ey3 and other Dualtrons.
It took me hours but I got it done and dropped this Video to Help everybody out.

Love your reviews. Where do you do most of your riding at, and what type of riding? Leisure or for commuting? Some of your scooters, especially the big heavy mamma jamma’s like the new DT Ltd, can seriously seem to replace the need for owning a car....just curious how you use your scooters most, and do you designate each as a “go to” for a particular task or purpose? Keep up the great reviews, I’ve watched every vid on your channel and have been sub’d for a long while now.
Hey @sallutz... I Ride all over the Country with different Groups, Riders and love talking to New wanna be owners and Riders. I Ride mostly for leisure. I probably did five rides in four years as an actual commute to somewhere and those were my most memorable ones.
The BiG Heavy Premium Scooters are the ones that move me most.

Yes share your knowledge of P settings! Just got my nanrobot d6+2.0 60v and it does not disapoint. Aparently I was driving illegal the whole time because my settings where off and it wouldnt give me the speedometer. Now I know only gear 1 is street legal lol. When you start passing or keeping up with people on the freeway lol.
Hey @Paco Chawa... You CAN NOT RIDE an Electric Scooter on ANY Freeway or Highway in America. It's illegal Buddy.
You can ONLY Ride on Public Roads, in The Bike Lanes and never on the Sidewalk. You go on certain Trails that do not prohibit Motorized bicycles or transport.

Both of these Scooters are great Scooters but The Dualtron X Limited (a Premium Power Beast Scooter) is such a great Scooter that it sits in a class all its own.

Remember to always GeearUP no matter what speed you're going. Riding ANY Scooter can be dangerous and even deadly. Riding at double tap speeds can be very very dangerous... so know that you are doing this at your own risk
Make sure you are skilled, and have the adequate experience and training to use double tap on any Scooter and know how to operate a Scooter SAFELY at high speeds (including crash preparedness, and how to fall at low and high speeds before attempting to ride ANY Scooter at high, medium and even low speeds) I just ruptured my UCL and broke my pinky at 12mph so you should NOT TRY this at all if you're NOT Trained or Experienced to SAFELY test any Scooter at speeds higher than the City's speed limit.
I never use Double TAP on any of my Power Scooters because the boost is ONLY temporary and actually decreases my final outcome by two seconds (which may vary on each Scooter).
The way the manufacture set up the double tap to work, is to first, make sure you are not on eco or any lower settings.
Then when you take off... quickly press press the throttle, and hold the throttle on the second press. You should get a ten second boost from the Controllers from 50Amps to 60Amps which will result in a quick burst of speed.

Yeah, I know all of them now but when I and 100s of many other early Buyers... there were no "P" Settings anywhere.

Are these brakes standard mounts, can upgrades be done? Tektros , maguras?

These are NUTT Brakes. They are 4 Piston Calipers with different Rotors (thickened and Vented to dissipate heat)
All Scooter Features can be modified in the right hands (meaning if the modifier is skilled enough to pull it off)
That's one of the things I love about this industry and our smart Community of Riders, and that is watching the amazing MODS that arise.
Do know that Dualtrons are dialed in so tight, specific and to the point that there isn't much room for Mods by novice. That's why you don't see too many Dualtrons modified but when I do, they are usually spectacular modifications. You really gotta know your stuff to work on and/or modify a Dualtron because they are made so WELL.

Hey dan,, what is your top speed on the x lmted? What does the manual say for top speed? Are these sine wave controllers and how smooth is the accel? Do they have better faster charging for it?

My top speed on the Dualtron X Limited is 64mph to date. No they are not SineWave (they're SquareWave) Controllers and yes, The Throttling is super smooth, yet still has great power with no Lag, jerking or twerky during acceleration. Nothing like the Storm or Storm Limited.
The Top Speed as listed in the Manual is 110kmh (68.351mph)
The Manufacturer does not recommend dual charging for ANY DTX Scooter (and that includes the DTX LTD) As it stands, complete charging is about 14hrs. Everything is relative to your Ride, how much battery you used, if you like to top off after each Ride, or if you prefer to use Cycles (meaning fully deplete and fully charge which is One Cycle) I prefer to NEVER fully discharge/charge my batteries, never going less than 20% and topping off at 80% as my general Rule (preferring trickle charging over rapid, but I do Charge Rapid for certain occasional Events, then back to trickle) However, I do Charge per Ride, and choose the right Scooter for that Ride which minimizes my charging time in most cases
The reason people are getting Smooth (quieter) Throttling and acceleration is because of The Power & Control Boards, the Motors, BMS and The Controllers' level of Programming (it is state of the art).
MiniMotors has really stepped up their game with the Programming of this Dualtron X Limited Scooter. The Throttling and Acceleration is like NO OTHER Dualtron Scooter ever made (it is so much BETTER) than any SquareWave I've ever ridden.

What's the point of going top speed when it just kills the battery I know its a frill not point just going ro being charging an charging no pint do it once or twice but it not worth it

Actually this is the ONLY Dualtron Brand Scooter that gives you a SineWave type of acceleration.
It's not SineWave but somewhat of a cross between SineWave and SquareWave... it's hard to explain. You'd have to Own or Ride one to discover the unique QUALITIES of this Scooter (and there are plenty)
There is no hard, jerky take offs, you can modulate the throttle at slow speeds without ANY of the common SquareWave uncomfortability.
Plus you have incredible power, speed, comfort and Quality Build. I have bought and own 38 Power Scooters and have ridden EVERY Power Beast Scooter out there and I can honestly say that this Dualtron X Limited is by far the most complete Scooter on the Streets.
I hope you get to Test one out so that you can see exactly what I'm talking about. It's the ONLY way a person can fairly critique ANY Scooter (and that is to Test and Ride that Scooter)

Out of all the scooters you own, is it safe to say that Dualtrons are the best over the rest in terms of quality and craftsmanship? Like you wouldn't think the new Segway gt2 is similar or better in craftsmanship than the dualtron storm?
Hey @Jess A... to be honest, SEGWAY was around way before MiniMotors hit the scene in actual Scooter Production. Ironically, they both started business in 1999 but it took MiniMotors 11 years to build their first version of a Scooter, and Segway 3 years to build their first version of a Scooter.
They both have incredible Quality in their designs. However I came to love the rapid progression and development of MiniMotors as SEGWAY kinda focused on entry level Scooters.
SEGWAY actually leads the way in PEV production and development around the world, with the biggest purse. They have built a reputation thru out the decades for building very durable PEVs (including Scooters). Then 2022 came along and not only did they get it but they GOT iT RIGHT!! Their GT Series turned out to not only be the most innovative Scooter to hit the market but it is more in line with the future direction of our Incommture than ANY other Scooter Manufacture with that GT Design.
But even with all that said... The Dualtron X Limited is still my favorite Electric Scooter of all the Scooters I've bought (34 and counting)
The SEGWAY GT2 would come in a close 2nd place though because of the amazing build of that innovative GT2, even my favorite has a couple of gaffes in their release where SEGWAY really thought through their R & D to actually release a near perfect product.
The two issues with the Dualtron X Limited are:
• The Ey4 Display
Washes out in sun &
• No "P" Settings were
included in manuals
The Dualtron X Limited still is my favorite. It just covers all the basis and The Dualtron Brand has more of my preferred Scooters than any other manufacturer with multiple Models. So yes Dualtron sits at the top of my list in better made, more reliable and great performing eScooters.

Hi, just received my DualTron X limited but I can’t get it passed 15 mph. Any ideas?

Yessss, it's obvious that your Settings aren't right. Look at "P" Settings (2, 5, 6 & 9) you want them to be... (0, 0,100 & 0) also make sure P11 is set to "ON" and "P18" is set to 15, DO NOT EVER LET THAT P18 CHANGE from "15"
Make sure you cycle through "P09" to get to "0000" don't see it at "0000" and not touch it. That's factory "0000" you MUST do like I said in the Video, and Cycle through "P09" past 0300 to 0000 then you're set at "0000"
Make sure P06 is set at 100 and P02 and P05 are set at "0".
Try these Settings and let me know your outcome, I'm confident she's going to really MOVE after this.
If you have doubts then go to my Dualtron X Limited "P" Settings Video and play it over and over until you get it right but I actually think right off the cuff that these four Settings should get you going.

Vrooming has there's set for 30, but when I do that my speedometer is wrong. Also no instructions on how to install the steering damper could you shoot me a close up Pic? Also the throttle side brake is very soft is there an easy fix for that?

your Magnets should be set to 15 (DO NOT CHANGE)
Setting the Steering Damper is pretty simple. First of all, note that the position of the Damper should be with the Red Dial pointing upward. You will notice that the center is already attached. Do not flip or change the direction it is installed.
Now you want to grab your Screws (you should have one long hex bolt, one long spacer and one short hex bolt with one short spacer)
Now position the cylinder (part red dial is connected to in the center of the rod with equal portions at the top and bottom.)
Make sure your wheel is facing straight forward, and then you are going to attach the bolts and spacers (use Blue Loctite)
NOTE:
• SHORT BOLT/Spacer
- attaches to the front
of the Damper.
- You put the Spacer on
the inside or top of the
Rod Ring and the bolt
through the bottom of
the ring. It should look
like: Bolt, Rod Ring,
Spacer, into Female
Threading on the
Steering Pole.
• LONG BOLT/Spacer
- attaches the same way
except it will screw into
neck portion of the
Scooter Chasis.
- You put the Spacer on
the inside next to the
Neck, place the Bolt
thru the Black bracket.
It should look like:
Bolt, Bracket, Spacer,
Threaded Neck.
With the wheel straight the cylinder should be positioned in the center of the Rod with equal Rod showing at its top and bottom.
Adjusting your Damper (NEVER OVER TIGHTEN, it will cause your Damper to leak and become damaged) I set mine at its stiffest by turning all the way tight then back off by three clicks.
And you're all DONE with Your Steering Damper installation.

someone told me recently that they had that same Brake Modulation problem (that usually requires an adjustment or bleed) and what they did to resolve it, was to turn on their EBS Braking... set it to (4) and then took the Scooter for a Ride. During the Ride, they squeezed both Brakes to stop a couple of times.
The first stop being a hard stop pressing both brakes, shifting weight to the rear of Scooter (like you're trying to sit down while holding and squeezing the Brake levers) and the second stop was a slower, more controlled stop (like you're trying to sit while holding the Brake levers, that position shifts your body weight to the rear so that you don't fly over the front handlebar) and he said that fixed his soft Brake lever issue on one side, with both working perfectly.
If that doesn't work, then you'll need to adjust your brakes, if that doesn't work then you need to bleed the affected Brake.

To be honest I have rode mu daultron x2 up in the rain and what I have noticed is they when I am at home or anywhere else stationary the water starts to come out from the corner dies it everytime I ride in the rain it has that extra protection I think its an ip54 rating

Some easier to get than others, depending on which Scooter and/or where you bought it from.

It is a completely new model Buddy, and they did an incredible job on it.

My phone and the App are not communicating well. I cannot get the App to work on my phone. That's irritating because all my Buddies got theirs working.
Is it an issue with apple or androids?

I probably have a virus or something on my phone and it just won't work.

Great videos, good info, but wow Dualtron needs to get rid of "p" settings, and add normal settings, eye 4 is a mess visually, mini motors needs to back to the drawing board, humble themselves, and make a better product, Kaabo TFT is running circles around it
I have to agree with You my friend. The Ey4 Color LCD Display has been very dissapointing so far.
My King GT with TFT has settings too that I can only get into when I start up the scooter, I can't go into them while the scooter has been on more than 10 seconds. It's so annoying.

AND what is range? is it miles or km bcoz it wont change. basically annoying. i have thunder 3 it says 106 when 100% yes could be 100miles like it promises, equal 170km they promises, but why not say it on screen its annoying. its even more annoying i have use 100% i have 100km on ODO so it alny goes 100km. ultra v2 go 120km. so its 5k downgrade. i demand firsmwarte update "turbo" should be single/dual mode. i dont want use both motors it eats battery reaching same speed faster
You would be much happier if you would give each one to the people who need one and would gladden a heart with your kindness! it is very good to have a collection, it is yours but remember nothing you have in this world is really yours because what happens when we have to leave this world? everything remains for others, it will be distributed to people who perhaps you do not want now but who will leave or be sold. If I were in your place, I would give a scooter to those who need it most, it would make their hearts happy and I would keep the most important ones that I like, one, two or three.
