I enjoyed my trip to Gran Canaria years ago. We used to hire a car a go off the beaten track to a naturist beach. We’re booked to go back to Tenerife next year. We go to Los Gigantes, TUI Blue adults only hotel. Check it out if you can when you’re in Tenerife again
You schuld also go to Holiday World in Maspalomas. Also, at the end of Meloneras pormenade, you have restaurants, pubs and discos, but maybe more for youngers. In Las Palmas you have a lot of entertainment if you want, in plaza farray area, and it is mostly spanish but also internacional beacause it is near Las Canteras area, so it is also touristic. If you like aquariums, you should also visit Poema del Mar aquarium. And if you like little towns and small cities, you have a lot of places in the north, like Arucas, Agaete, Teror,Tejeda (mountains),etc. Gran Canaria is probably the most complete island, but it is true that the south of Tenerife is a little bit better than South of Gran Canaria in entertainment (except for LGTBI community).
Gran Canaria is ace.Plenty of choice of resorts.Will suit all ages.Great place for walking and cycling. Airport has lots of duty-free.Loads of toilets available too.

Hi Kevin. We used to always do canaries all of them but we liked Gran Canaria most. Tenerife was run down but we visited Gran Canaria then lanzaorte and finally Tenerife in last year. I have to say lanzarote and Tenerife are now better. we fly from Doncaster airport but that’s now looking like closing sadly. Hope the same owners peel group don’t owns Glasgow preswick that may be next on their agenda. Give a shout out to dsa airport on your next video all the smaller airports make such a difference to all of us. Now we are back to options Manchester, Leeds or East Midlands 😢
Hi Colin, the last commercial flight took off from DSA last Friday night, I think it was. It was a TUI positioning back to Manchester. Airliners Live (AI) TH-cam group were there to record and post it. Nope I'm not a spotter, honest I promise, I just know these things 🙄 Cheers DougT
Ideas , ye aving a laugh , I’ve only mentioned the baobab suites 6 million times and all the other 5 star hotels that for some reason you won’t go in in adeje . Regards the geordie moderate drinker.

Some of the nicest areas and towns in Gran Canaria are in the mountains. Unfortunately, most vacationers skip it which is a mistake.

I prefer Tenerife over Gran Canaria, but Las Palmas is by far a much nicer city than any city on Tenerife.

I’ve lived on both islands. A good way to describe the difference is Tenerife is better for short holidays and Gran Canaria is a better place to live.
