15:58 ill just point this out for you to know, the more evil you are, the faster the bar for the eldrich pact will build up. Consequently, i just saw before you made the sacrifice and your alignment changed from good to neutral that there was something about a 10% chance of them starting a war with you. So basically you want to be evil if you want to benefit from these guys and these guys will offer you units in the rally of leages and unique spells you can only buy from them. (By the way, the umbral flesh modifier and the altar of marchijg gloom can be bought from them as well if you dont start with it by selecting the umbral descibles empire modifier)

One of the devs gave a tip for speeding up diplomacy with eldrich dwellings: they might come and give you a mission to attack one of your vassals (when you’re not playing Reavers) or a player you have good relations/alliance with: if you say yes and declare war it gives you a ton of approval from the dwelling and speeds it up a up by like 20 turns iirc and you get additional reputation boosts for every fight vs them I think it was.

I would have put the shielding cloak on the mage unit, he's been built about bolstering IIRC
Also, check the cooperation tab on the assimilated city state, I think you can send a trade route, might be helpful to your income.
