- We have our first meeting with tidal waters and som breathtaking views on Seine cruising the french canals on the European Inland Waterways. Me? A TH-camr sailing a Comfort 32. Leaving home port i started my TH-cam sailing channel 2021. Join me and my small budget sailboat with a big passionate dream to sail away, enjoy every moment and share it with others.
I hope you appreciate my sailing channel, sailing adventure and the sailing life I share on TH-cam. If you do - please subscribe and give it a big thumbs up, that is really helpful! I'm trying to make the best sailing channel I can, not just showing beautiful places, but also tell about them and show the general boatlife!

This got me wondering where the tidal predictions here came from. I guess for the States, it is NOAA. Which would mean most other sources would obtain their data from NOAA.
Not sure, very strange since it is also ONLY on Seine we have discovered that, once at the english channel navionics seems to make a good job
@@sailingtildaIHmm. Now, a trip along to coast back to Sweden? Thanks for the tours of the French villages and country side.
@@olivei2484 No, not at all, still longing south! =)
Tides are inherently local as it depends so much on the local underwater topography. Tidal predictions are therefore based on local, historic records.
Så hvor setter du kursen nå da Jeanette? Mvh Jarle
Jag tror det blir en liten tur till Storbrittanien innan det blir söderut😊
@@sailingtilda lykke til og god tur.
@@sailingtilda Whoops, looks like Jarle beat me to the question. 🙂
@@olivei2484 it's still going to be interesting to follow the journey. This down to earth ray of sunlight is a pleasure to follow no matter where the destination might be.
Best regards from Jarle
Gode videoer, har været turen tidligere. Mvh Erling fra Danmark
