There's probably a thousand Parts in there you can reuse so are you going to do anything with them? Best part of this video was the music! Hellooo anybody can take anything apart!

it's set to boomer speed; kick it up to 1.5X for normal information processing.

1.5X is the new boomer speed, set it to 2X

Wow you could have made this a 2min video and saved 5min of my life.
Edit: I take it back you only wasted 7:55 of my life. Txs so much... how bout this for a title for your video, "Watch me take a scanner apart with explanation of each and every individual part of a scanner. (Applause)

Do not flatter yourself to pretend being some kind of "living the dream guru" caring for every spent second... being on TH-cam and watching this sh** (yes, this video included) has more traits of the lazy guy in his white socks sitting on his lazy ass and searching for crappy entertainment than of the inspiring prophete investing every seconds in life-changing experiences

@TeeSheep dont forget the time you wasted, stating your computer, open your browser, search on youtube, making arrogant comments. If every minute counts never watch a video just skip to the end , or even better dont visit youtube, its a huge timekiller (no joke)

Wow, what an idiot... You do know you don't actually have to sit through the whole thing right? You can fast forward.

Heh .. i found it interesting as because of the video i didnt have to teardown the scanner i have to find out what is in it, as i have several old scanners and dont take them apart until i need the parts .. because often you want to reuse bigger parts. Like the whole mechanism to move the head .. and if you take it completely apart you have to try to find all the bits again. Most interesting bit was that it actually has a color CCD sensor with lens. As its kinda thin i figured it would have the CIS contact image sensor with a monochrome sensor some R,G,B leds and 1000's of tiny bar lenses.
