Paul, Hats off to you. You have a superb crew, and they look to enjoy their job. To that end I can only imagine your guests have a great time too. The editing of this segment was the best I have seen on TH-cam. I truly enjoy Motor Yacht Loon channel. Cheers!
Croatia is number one for yachting because the sea is so beautiful. Over 1200 islands and one of the best wine and food I ever had in my life. I just which I would yacht one week in Croatia on a yacht like Loon.
Sadly, only for commercially crewed vessels. Too much BS bureaucracy and lack of licence recognition for those who are deemed 'ineligible' to have an ICC from RYA, and who can't hold an EU licence due to lack of residency in the relevant country.
I started and ran the first American style hotel in Yugoslavia years ago. In hotel Albatross. I absolutely adore Croatia. It's like a second home in my mind.
Crew meetings and briefs are an essential aspect of my job in Nuclear Power but I also assume it's just as important for the yachting/commercial boating industry. Seeing how you folks perform your pre-boarding briefs before your clients come aboard would make for really interesting content to compliment the post departure briefs you already show us. Thanks for the insights nonetheless! Love the channel and envy you guys for having such an exciting and globetrotting vocation.
Thank you so much! You always make me ❤ so full of happiness. I appreciate this little holiday that you took me and all the other viewers on. Many thanks! 🤗 🤗 🍷
I love Courtney‘s mini travel vlog of all the pretty ports and the most scenic bars and restaurants. You should do compilation video of “Courtney‘s Guide to the Mediterranean & Adriatic”!
Wow, brings back memories of visiting Croatia in the late 80’s, although not on a super yacht 😂. Can’t wait for next Sunday’s video. Stephen - your video skills are absolutely amazing 😍.
Absolutely amazing video… Croatia looks amazing spell binding. Great food by Nina. Really enjoyed the walk through the old town with Courtney and Steve. Absolutely loving the font on the menu. So cool and creative. Can’t wait til part 2.
@@motoryachtloon So guys, this amazing edit comes from the fabulous team of Motor Yacht Loon @motoryachtloon as they effortlessly cruise across #Croatia. Firstly Captain Paul Clarke (@captainpaulclarke) departs the dock and heads towards Dubrovnik and they head thru a special shout out to Tristan - @tristan_wc as he returns from leave. Then the pilot arrives on board so the crew can anchor successfully. Next we are blessed with an amazing walk through the old town, apparently there is a scene from Game of Thrones revealed by Steve @tenchvisuals and Courtney @courtsdalziel. Back in the galley we are blessed with amazing cookery from Nina @thecrewchef and Julie (@judy_thefoodie) and awesome new edits so we get to see what’s on the menu. Finally the crew head off to Ston #Ston and Mljet #Mljet and the stern ties are out of this world. Good god what a place Croatia. Epic drone shots by Steve and even Tyler @tyler_viljoen collects the muscles on the Amvera for the guests after the brilliant cycle ride. I can’t wait for part 2 can you. No problem at all
Really enjoyed watching this. When seeing Dubrovnik, it brought back memories of my wife and I being there last September for holidays. Part of the tour we were on in the balkans. Looked like awesome anchorages were at part one of this charter. The drone footage was spectacular. Luckily, Tyler didn't get his nose chopped off.Pizza cooked up with Judy and Nina they both looked like The Mario brother's sister's. Nina, maybe get yourself a RED Mustache to wear. I am looking forward to the next video, Part 2 of this charter. Welcome back, Triston.
Love Dubrovnik! Went a v long time ago, pre war so it's probably a lot more touristy. Would like to see more of Croatia, that tie up at Storn was gorgeous 😍 E bikes - my kind of cycling 😊
Great to hear that you had marvelous time in Croatia. You anchored close to some of the great diving spots. Only thing missing is pronunciation of some of the local names as there is no K in Cavtat and z in Mjet :)
Oh man, the views, the boat, the crew. So nice! I hope to see you guys around the mediterranean in a few years if I ever manage to save for a catamaran. Beers will be on me! :)
Loon is a fantastic yacht and the captain and crew seem to be a great team. You presented your boat and also the natural beauty of Croatia very nicely. One problem I have is anchoring and tying the boat aft to the rocks and trees on the shore. Although it is done en masse, it is not allowed under Croatian maritime laws. I hope that this practice will be stopped in the coming years. To Captain Clarke and the crew of Loon fair winds and following seas 👋
As always a pleasure to watch Loon Adventure . I've been going through the web site for locations which I have found but I'm not finding pricing. Am I missing some thing. Cheers from Canada

i love your videos...but I love to see where you are currently on Marine traffic.......beautiful Sardinia right now.....keep up the fabulous work guys, if I even win the lottery, I will be straight on there...
Love every single video! I have a selfish request- As you travel to the different ports, I would love to see the air and water temps, and wind speeds just flash on the screen briefly. Would you consider adding that to the vids? ❤
Love the GOT theme music! Those were the ‘Steps of shame’. We did Adriatic coast on a cruise a short while ago (Dubrovnik, Split, Kotor, Koper) - stunning scenery! Thanks for the drone footage 😊
Just put Nina as the thumbnail and you will get 10k more views…..Courtney impeccable in your service…..Paul the hair looked great and so well manicured…..Editing spot on
Beautiful ship and crew. Maybe the question is asked before but maybe someone care to explain. When the anchor is pulled up a lot of water comes from the bow. Does the anchor-chain get a clean rinse then? Seems more water then just comming from the chain.
First time i entered Dubrovnik Old Town harbor there were no pilots. Just an old fellow pointing to a spot ahead of a Soviet Union light cruiser. She mounted 9 6" cannon. WW 2 vintage cruiser. Which was fitting. My dads yacht was a converted Fairmile. WW 2 subchaser. No match for a light cruiser, though. 😂
Great video as always. Sadly i couldn't meet you guys in Saint Tropaz when i was on vacation in the area. Gridlock was to insane for me to be able to get over there. Maybe a other time!
Pronouncing Croatian names can be a bit of a puzzle, right? For ‘Cavtat,’ think of the ‘C’ like the ‘zz’ in ‘Pizza.’ And for ‘Mljet,’ just imagine you’re combining ‘Ml’ and ‘yet’ very quickly-almost like it’s one sound. It’s not quite the French ‘j,’ but rather ‘Mlyet.’ It’s all part of the adventure in learning new pronunciations!
7:00 I suspect you need a pilot even if you're anchoring because there are some cruise ships around, which is how we got to Dubrovnik a few years back. Those 100,000-ton ships will make Loon look small!
The first group of guests wanted to wait and see Loon together with their friends, and not before, that's kinda wholesome :).
We LOVE Croatia! Please can we go back soon :)
The morale and professionalism on Loon are astounding. She is the most gorgeous yacht I have ever seen.
I couldn't agree more. She's gorgeous.
@@lenvincenti1363 Her crew is second to none. Loon is the yacht other yachts try to emulate.
Thank you Len 🛥😁
The crew are so organised, they make some TV yacht crews look like argumentative teenagers.

I really enjoy all of the detailed explanations and commentary from Captain Paul and the crew. Croatia certainly is beautiful!
Thank you! its an amazingly beautiful country 🛥🇭🇷
Ah man Croatia is the best! Great job making it look so amazing Steve...
He is actually destroying our coast with lack of knowledge.
When I win the lottery, Loon is on top of my bucket list. What a great crew

Yes, exactly it is the anchor wash which washes off all the mud a debris from the chain and anchor before it comes onboard
