I knew Dr. Shibikom from pre-graduation when I was in Gondar. When he was a student, he was hardworking, humble , friendly , and made students have skills. Because of this, many of my friends said that we study surgery. Many of us, including me, become surgeons. I hope that You will mend many hearts and produce a successor generation. አትፍራ! ክፈት! አይደማም !! I still remember these words of him when I hold surgical blade. That was in my first week of surgery internship in UOG while he allowed me to drain giant abdominal wall abscess. He was the most handsome, humble and brilliant medical student and fellow I know in Gondar. I watched the full interview. I was wondering if they have started to train other doctors. Is there a cardiac surgical fellowship in Ethiopia? If not they should start soon . That will be their legacy in 50 to 100 years
Thanks for your reply. It looks like the interviewer interested to pursue their path as well which is amazing. So u should be able to know for sure if it is in the pipeline I didn't hear any replies from both cardiac surgeons about starting fellowship. Thanks for the good job.
you mean to prevent people with born conditions from traveling to get healthcare, but cases that are borne of lack of healthy lifestyle should take a different course
