Watching from the Barkly tablelands of the Northern Territory of Australia, yes never forget them but sure do miss those documentary videos the used to post on here, Thanks for sharing this video with us , see some changes since I last watched a video of Buffalo Airways. Sad to see the DC 4 parked up and am wondering what happened to the other one ? Joe must be well into his seventies now and I'm guessing still flying, wondering how many hours he must have logged ( and how many he didn't bother logging 😁😂😂 Like so many bush pilots in both fixed wing and helicopter, I'm 71 yrs and grew up in South Westland , south island of NZ, we had no road access when I was a kid and relied on an Air service, as a young man I was involved in the Venision industry late sixties and seventies, fixed wing and helicopter were the required machines of the order back then,
Wish Buffalo a long lasting and prosperous future,
Cheers and thanks from from an old man Al

Those DC-3's (all 4 of them) came from NWT Air including the hangar. NWT Air also owned two DC-6's and the chief pilot was Happy Harry Sorenson. The owner was Bob Engel, an American from Seattle. This was back in the 1960's/70's when I worked for that company. Both have passed on. I spent many hours in those aircraft, flying around most of the NWT, which at that time included the Eastern Arctic. Am now 90 years old and still truckin'. Happy days.

This video brought back some very fond memories.
Back in the 1970’s, Naples (Florida) Airlines (aka PBA) had a fleet of five DC-3’s
(N35PB, N233PB, N130PB, N32PB, N139PB) which I flew on frequently between Naples Florida and either Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. They were great planes. They also added Martin 404’s (N40407) to the fleet in the mid 70’s and had at least one Lockheed 10E Electra (N233PB) in the 1960’s

Sub- Arctic Man Cave .... I miss the periodic little snippits from Buffalo

Really enjoyed the tour with a fresh face, not the usual suspects! Lol
Just a heads up, the volume of music is too loud for these old ears! Could you please turn it down a couple of notches? Going from the conversation, back to music, and back to conversation makes it hard to hear. I would rather hear the conversation. Otherwise very good video and looking towards the next one's! 😊 Thank you!

We were lucky enough to get a private one-on-one tour, so there are no complaints here at all. They treated us amazingly and we had a blast. If we can get a lot of views /subscribers that show us there’s the interest, I’ll look at going back at some point over the winter as well and welcome all requests to try to capture what content people would like to see. I took note of the exhibits/artifacts for you. Thanks for watching!
