Hey Leila! One way to think about the chair is to compare it to a mattress. We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, so you need a high quality mattress. You probably spend more time in your chair between work and side hustles than you do sleeping! This doesn’t mean it HAS to be expensive, but often the two are correlated. Herman Miller is a quality and sustainable brand, so likely one you could feel really good about. They do have some showrooms, so maybe you can visit a store and try them out. Certain items like this are tough to spend on but I do think they’re worth it in the end. ☺️

I would classify a desk chair as a health expense. Back, hip, knee, and neck problems are nothing to mess around with. I spent so much money getting X-rays and MRIs when I had some hip issues a few years ago. Turns out, I was sitting sideways in my car to reach the gas peddle and keep my arms further away from the airbag and steering wheel! Posture and alignment are so important!

I got a used Herman Miller chair and it SAVED my back! When I switched to remote work, I had a cheap chair and my lower back hurt constantly. Got a herman miller chair and my back was fixed after 2-3 days. I'm short (4'11) and got the B size since A wasnt widely available and I have no issues with it.
I'm 4'10" and I've heard that chair is awesome for our size! However, I usually end up pulling a leg up under me (which I know is bad lol) so I think the mesh would hurt me
@@PersonalFinancewithLeila The mesh is much softer so i think you'll be fine! I wear shorts all the time and it never scratched me. Its an awesome type of mesh. I have the aeron model as a reference
