The precision adjust is arguably my favourite sharpener from you guys I’ve never had my spyderco and leatherman wave as sharp as I do now even without a strop both hair shaving sharp 😁 Greetings from the uk
Loving your videos. Anything specifically about reprofiling a factory knife with a KO Elite? If not, how do YOU fellas go about it? For example S35VN steel to 15 degrees for skinning?
Reprofiling just takes patience. Its not a process you want to rush since you are going to be removing a little more material than you typically would resharpening. You would still follow the same steps though. Start on one side of the knife at 15° and make passes until you raise a burr. Once you raise a burr make the same number of passes on the other side. That will set your angle evenly and then you just need to refine the edge to your liking by using finer grit abrasives and alternating strokes.
cut some bottles full of water in slow mo :D . i work in the kitche and when i test my blades after sharpnening the fastest and utlimate for me is paper but the paper towel roll and the straw is next level :D
