I agree with Carol. Although I know putty performance can be subjective, I hadn't heard great reviews either. After your review, I love BEW putty so now I'm curious.✨️
I did find that after a while of working with it, it does become more sticky but it's definitely workable!
Thanks Naomi. I had not heard much good about this putty but after this I ordered the unscented one to give it a try. I am also a hard placer and I always have used putty in my single placer as well....not a wax girl at all. Thanks for the review. Have a great day!
I wish I would have known, I would have sent you a little pack of it to try out! After a while it does become more sticky but it definitely seemed workable for me.

I ordered the Rose because I loved the color and the pack I got didn't have any scent. I had a bad sinus infection as a teen and lost most of my sense of smell so I had my grandma check and she was like "It just smells like erasers". I'm really glad it didn't have any rose scent now, honestly.
I love and hate this putty but I guess I'm still learning how to use putty in my pens. It keeps squishing around and getting outside the tip and then getting stuck on my canvas or otherwise making a mess. It can be tough to get off of AB drills too. On my multiplacers I keep having trouble with the very end where it'll all squish out and then won't pick anything up. I'm constantly having to readjust this putty so that I can pick stuff up and so that it doesn't make a mess. It's been a bit of a learning curve for me but hopefully I'll figure it out.
For the amount you get compared to the price, I love it. I also like the color. But I've been considering trying the quakehold museum putty instead. Since this is my only putty I have nothing to compare it to. If your feelings about this putty change with longer use please let us know.
Yeah I thought it smelled of bug spray honestly. Blechhhh!
Hard placer as well. I actually like it. I have the unscented. I like it in my single placer, but still prefer the blue wax in my multi-placer.
I need to get some unscented, I don't love the chemical smell

That seems like a great deal - even with our dreadful conversion to Canadian moolah - 10 pieces of putty for let’s say $20CAD is a fantastic savings. I have been using Craft Pack Canada’s putty which is fantastic, but works out to several times more expensive per block.
I am so glad you mentioned your sense of smell has gone kittywampus since you quit smoking; I thought I was going crazy here! Some smells come to me totally different than to most people and even though it isn’t for a lot of things, it is a freaky feeling when it happens (like my drinking glasses coming straight out of the dishwasher but smelling like a wet dog to me 🤷♀️). And congrats on quitting! Us ex-smokers all know how hard it was. 🤩
OMG The first time I realized that ABs smell like cat pee was when I was working on Story Time. Made me GAG!! Congrats on quitting yourself!

I haven't had such good luck with it. It drives me nuts because it's constantly coming out on the gems on the canvas. I don 't overload it. I'm kind of a light presser. I'll try pressing harder like you are. But I'm working on a Diamond Dotz at the moment and their drills might not work as well with DAC putty as DAC drills maybe.
Yeah, try pressing harder. I have noticed the people who don't like it are light pressers. Not sure if that's what it is but it could be.
