Alice, you are totally correct about demons!!! I have been a fan for many years, and I am a CHRISTian!!! Alice Trashes The World was the best concert of all time!!! I honestly wasn't expecting this! Awesome Alice! But I want to throw in another thought: Sometimes, souls may be allowed to raise awareness by "haunting" so people start praying for them and they get out of purgatory. (These kind of hauntings never do harm, though. They just try to get noticed)
Anyway, I'm really glad you adressed the issue. "Ghost Hunters" trying to 'communicate' with ghosts gives me the chills, who wants to talk to demons? Or willingly invites them into a room?

LadyJaneSlay I agree! I, too, am a Christian, and I don't believe in ghosts, but I believe Satan has power in this world. But it never crossed my mind that "ghosts" could be demons pretending to be ghosts. I think Alice totally nailed it, spot on.

I remember my friend sending me this programme once where this group of people were supposedly contacting the ghost of Catherine Eddowes to find out who murdered her to solve the Jack the Ripper mystery. And then when they had their 'answer' they went on to try and contact the man she supposedly accused and it was one of the most embarrassing things I have ever seen.

😳 although I do not believe in “demons” - I 100% agree on the spirits you will find should you go looking like that - only pranksters - but the hunter brought the energy - the universe simply responded.

From a Christian point of view, couldn’t ghosts be angels/demons OR souls trapped in Purgatory? At least that’s what I believe, it would explain the whole “stuck in limbo with nowhere to go” aspect we associate with ghosts. Food for thought...
