Holystone motors don't stop when it lands sometimes only the front stop and the rear keep going ,it has ghost touching where It goes sideways so you can't let a kid borrow it in fear they might not control it on time and crash into a car or a window of a house or building
Great Video, I'm juggling between the HS720R & a DJI Mini 3 pro, this will be my 1st drone, but I watched someone say that if you get a cheapy, you'll instantly want the upgrade, that's my reasoning anyways. Major price difference, I have this offer for a 720R for $225 or I'm going to gamble and try to get a Mini pro 3 with the RC2 controller for about $400 ish dollars, I really want the camera quality so thats my dilemma, how you doing?
I recently acquired the Holy Stone HS720S... The flight experience and battery life are quite amazing. But the camera is so shaky I can't get any good video. Any tips? Are there any settings in the app I am missing?
I recommend EVERYONE who plans to buy this drone do your research on its very common issue to stop responding to the controller and toilet bowling to the ground or tress. You have been warned.
Makes no sense on expending 300+ on a holystone when you can buy a DJI mini for the same I had really bad experience with the 720g and there's no warranty when you don't buy overpriced on Amazon, you will regret buying this drone because holystone are not safe,.. they go out of control, the software is not as good as the DJI , all these people recommend these drones because they get a commission affiliate marketing..without really using them for a long time, mine started toilet bowling, then when you spin with the left joystick only it was drifting the opposite direction sideways, and when it goes out of control it goes left and backwards so I suggest going up any obstacle then if it goes crazy at least is high enough so you won't crash into a tree or a building and give you time to react, this started happening to me after about 10 flights on the first month and customer service said if I didn't bought it on Amazon they could do nothing, total irresponsible about their product is not like Sony or other electronics that you can register online for a warranty these people just don't care
Have you seen that Potensic finally put a 3 axis gimble on the Atom? Still $300. Edit: It's actually 300 to $400 depending on standard or fly more bundle
I would not recommend this drone to anyone. I learned the hard way that no matter how many new features in this drone it will still toilet bowl and you will eventually loose it. Not worth more then 100 bucks
I only fly as a hobby, for the money this is just awful , completely unusable footage , buy a secondhand DJIMini you won’t be disappointed, you will with this, sorry it’s just not worth the money, forget about the case that doesn’t fly ! Regards

@@caritoarias64 it’s very low quality and has a pretty bad camera.. there’s so much better drones that have better wind resistance and flight time, and camera quality for a similar price.
@@HalfChromeMini 2SE, Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro are not compatible (yet) with Litchi, Maven, or Dronelink. So no follow-me. Also some people say they were more happy with the Mini 2 than with their Mini 3 Pro. I don't have a DJI but I can kinda imagine what they mean.
The mini 2 SE is a more direct comp. Price wise it is closer. Still readily available on Amazon just like this drone. Mini 3 is in another class. (So is M2SE)

Low wind day. Fly slow.
@@HalfChrome There wasn't any wind that day and I did place the drone in slow mode, flew very slow and still had extremely shaky video.

I think you'd be happier with a Mavic Mini 2 SE or something similar in the Mini 2 series.
Besides the 3rd gimble, what’s the difference between the 720G and this one ?
More stable camera with 3 way Gimble, plus 2000 feet longer distance (3000 feet Total) and 3 speeds to choose from

Mini SE, Mine 2 SE, and Mini 2 are no longer available through DJI's website. So I think you should start comparing drones to a Mini 3.
They are available in the US.
Mini 2 SE is available here in EU (Sweden), Mini 2 and Mini SE been gone for quite some time.

Every legitimate Holystone drone review I have seen shows their drones as heaps of shit, toilet bowling etc. Complete waste of money…….buy DJI
