I like what this game adds A LOT. But I find myself going back to the og a lot more because the movement is sooo much better. And that's REALLY important for a platformer lmao
The games are so different it's easy to argue for one or the other. They look different, feel different, have different level layouts, different focuses and different content, different tone... The DS version is nowhere near the total replacement for the original some people seem to claim. I have never heard anyone who actually 120 starred Mario 64 ever say they prefer this version, even if it's cool that it exists. Generally though the OG is a much tighter platformer
