And one thing I want to ask you is I'm using ipad 9th gen so what would be ideal canvas size for me ? Because I tried using 3300 x 2500px with 300 dpi but the line gets pixelated when I zoom in.

this is a very good video, kudos. however, i find that procreate provides for way more controlled lines than any other program/app, which can be frustrating for beginners who cannot afford an ipad and they see art made on it thinking they could never reach such fine and controlled lines. i agree one has to learn all basics and fundamentals but procreate does facilitate the process waaaay more.

As a new procreate-user who's art is very lineart-based, yes I would agree. However, I think that is in big part due to the iPad and apple pencil themselves. Somehow their pen is even more responsive than Wacom's best. I'm able to apply much more of my natural technique with precision than on any Cintiq

Learning to draw. Would you recommend some one to start learning traditional or digital? Does it even really matter (My ipad has the paperlike screen protector on it)
At the end it doesn’t matter.... practice is practice... but if I were you. I would draw in paper and paint digital

Hey Julia, thank you for the question. No the exact brushes, but in my pack of brushes you can find improved versions of them. I update them as often as I can so they work nicely :)
Could you maybe do one like this for Procreate 5.2? There are some new additional features for making new brushes and it’s sorta confusing.

I my LP pack I have inking brushes and painting brushes, sketching, with texture and so on... so it is a lot brushes.

Without the tablet is going to be very hard, but you can simply use paper and a pencil and all the traditional media

Random question as I just got an iPad with procreate and basic brush’s some brush’s tend to draw a very annoying hook at the end of the of the line, can we change it somewhere in the settings? Also the curved lines (for example the curve of the camera that the hand is holding ) the basic brush’s that I tried didn’t really allow me to draw the curves I wanted with respecting the form and usually always line vibrate if I take my time to draw the curve I really wants…

Hey! Is there a reason your Procreate looks not pixelated when you zoom? Cause every device I use it looks pixelated when I zoom in
Maybe you need to draw on a bigger canvas. Try to open a size 3508x3508 pixels to test.

I don't know if you can still download stuff on Deviantart. They changed things and I downloaded some stuff the other day and got jpegs instead of abr files. So I don't know. There is also brush packs for sale by the pros which have everything you need in one pack.

Ibis X has a good brush smoothing like Procreate. I use ArtFlow that has a line smoothing system like Lazy Nozomi.
I think some great painting apps are available for Android. Artstudio or clip studio, or medibang. Some of these apps feature a smoothing or stabilizing option for their brushes just like procreate or photoshop 🙂
what is the best way to start selling your digital art?

Hey Eyismal, no you can not. You can only use the ps ones in ProCreate. But that brush is really easy to recreate 🙂
