Hi Larry... Really enjoyed this walking tour, the houses and buildings were nice to see. The Filipino people are very friendly, love that! Thanks for sharing Larry, take care. 👍🏻🍻✌🙏
I am from Indonesia,i had a friend from Philipinnes when we were a foreign exchange student in Texas in 2005-2006. From what she said i thought phipilipines much better than indonesia in any sector. But,i guess that was the way she described her nation because she was proud of her nation. As Asean, lets respect each other,we have very much in common, only few things are different. Even in Tagalog, some vocabularies are same with Indonesian language , like when you say "lima" which means number 5,we also say "lima" ,when you say "isa" for number 1,we can say "esa" which means "tbe only one" . I am just little bit confused with chinese from Malaysia. I know Malay language is national language that we can undersrtand since Indonesian language is derived from Malay language. But,why when chinese from malaysia work here, tney never want to speak malay, they always speak english even with their weird accents. Why we never proud of our language. Look at japanese people. Their english suck. But,who cares?? who need english when they can be great country.
I have similar experience as you. When I was in school I have a Filipino friend from the internet who is always saying that her country is the best. I believed her because there was a Filipino teacher in my school whose really good in English. In 2016, I went to Australia for uni. I decided to visit Philipines with my Japanese and South African friends. I was shocked because there was so dense and crowded. I saw boys around 13-15 yo throwing molotove to each other on the street and many more. Btw, their beaches and natura assets are amazing and beautiful. The country has its own beauty, you don't need to lied that you are the best, fillipino.
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Nice walking tours, keep it up.
