Miguel.. I feel you on this 100%.. my dad had bought this 66 Impala that was neglected and beaten up and we ended up engine swapping it and giving it a 350 instead of a 302 and we didnt worry about body work cause everything was intact just needed a paint job.. I learned a lot working on it with my grandpa and my dad at 12 years old and I love cars so much.. because of that impala.. bringing it back to life and driving around in it inspired me to pursue fixing cars and he told me he would pass it down to me to have as he knew it held sentimental value to me.. 4 years later after bringing it back to life he ended up selling it because of financial problems and it broke me.. I will never forget that car.. this may not be the same lines of your story with your dad and the dsm.. but if it was me I wouldnt sell it at all.. that is your baby and it's a part of you.. but I understand if you need to let it go for other reasons.. you do what's best for you Miguel.. I'm just saying I wouldnt let something go like that if it means more than money and a car.. that's a car you and your dad experienced and shared together.. just think about it.. I'm happy for you bro keep it up!
I literally just found this channel looking how to change the spark plugs on my 2003 Spyder and have been binge watching your videos... I would be sad to see you sell the car because you have put so much love and heartache into this car... but the sad thing is sometimes we have to let things go so we can grow and move on to better things even though you will miss her so much. only you know the situation and how far you want to grow, I will continue watching your channel no matter what you decide to do because I love watching someone pour their heart into a car. I wish you the best of luck on deciding and if you do sell her hopefully she will go to someone who will love her and take care of her just as much as you did.
I honestly think you should keep the dsm because we all know what happens when a “collector” buys them they just sit and don’t get appreciated anymore and also all the memories that were made with it and content wise I’d love to see a mix of everything that you mentioned and as always keep up the amazing work

This my favorite build on TH-cam by far, plus Tommy Fyeah’s white r32 gtr. Your car is super unique. I’d run towards this over any Supra, NSX, R34, etc. If you do sell it, I really hope that someone keeps it as is and your reunited with this piece of art. Do your thing Miguel!

Either route you take we'll all continue to support as your channels base isnt just the cars that keep us here...
@@MiguelDsm yeah i get that, patience is key and if this next project you feel you would grow with more than your two current 4g63 builds then full send and you may have to sacrifice an awd . I can see how you would be torn between what's best to grow your channel and the DSM thats become such a big part of your identity. I have one myself and can't imagine letting it go. But at the end of the day we watch this channel because of you and how entertaining it is. Anyone can post they're car, not everyone can entertain an audience. Do what makes you happy bro. We all understand that you have problems with the DSM but think about all the memories you made , yes there might be some bad ones but remember the happiness that u have gotten from the first start up till now , we have mostly all started watching because of the DSM content and have been inspired because of you , do you think that that’s happiness will lead onto your next build , or is there going to be a cloud over you head of regret . Keep the DSM! Honestly you are one of the few people putting out quality DSM Videos and I feel like you play a major role in the community through that. Plus I really enjoy the DSM content. I personally love the sentimental aspect to cars and though I wouldn’t consider ‘materialism’ to be a good thing, having that connection with a car is part of the reason we enjoy cars
As an eclipse owner, If we are given an opportunity you take that shit. The cool thing about the eclipse is that it builds up your character and it’ll always be apart of you.
i still have my eclipse i bought it brand new and it will be in the family as soon as possible. I Had this car since 1997 I just can't see myself parting with it, and my family would be devastated if I sold it. so I don't think you should. its a classic and don't see them anymore let alone as nice as yours is. you are an inspiration to me and others like me. please keep it going
@@MiguelDsm I don't you can, I am having a hard time just finding parts for it. i fixing my mine back up after it was in an accident almost 10 years ago and i having a hard time bring it back. you inspired me to work on it again and get this car back up. i was hoping to one day to see our cars at a meet/show in the future. so selfishly i don't want to see you sell it. all the people i knew that had this 2g sold it or lost it and its hard to find people who love the 2g and don't F&F it. so i hope you do keep it. but if you do sell it , you should be proud of the job you did. and know you inspired people at least me anyway. cheers.
This channel to me was always about the build.. the ups and the down of build.. From pen to paper sort of speak. Sometimes life gives oranges you make juice.. whatever you decide I’ll be watching..💯 🤣🤣
My first car in high school was a 2g eclipse... this was in 2000. Got rid of it 5 years later.... fast forward 21 years to today.... my biggest regret in life. That's why i watch your channel religiously.
You better not man. I know its been a heartache but you really inspired me to build my talon through the past year and a half. When I got it it was in limp mode, automatic, stock everything with your typical Midwest rust. I turned that whole car around and don't get me wrong the journey has been hella rough and also a lot of fuckin money but one day they'll both be great cars that will hopefully only need maintenance every so often. At least that's the dream lol but bro keep grinding and pushing through I know it'll get easier and you'll be soo stoked you put in all the blood sweat and tears!! Cant stop, Wont Stop brotha!
Honestly you should do what you think it’s right moving forward, if you sell your dsm then that opens up room for more content with the next car you buy, your true fans will support you no matter what at the of the day. 🙌
You are known for the dsm in my opinion, you're also my #1 motivation with mine. Its nice to see someone that has the same amount of car trouble as me haha. It really is iconic, I wouldn't sell if I were you. Its almost too far gone to sell, too much time and money that you'll never get back!!!
ALSO, you're my #1 person I go check on TH-cam first for allllll dsm repairs and little changes. You helped me change my stock deck to an atoto touch screen deck lol :)
@@MiguelDsm Well, I wish I had the money to buy it for sure. Regardless, it’s your channel, YOUR car, you do whatever you think is best. But all I know is that I neeeed a video about your wheel specs and whether or not you had to roll your fenders haha (unless there’s a video now?) I plan on going that type of look. Before ya sell haha 😂😂
Just keep on going you and documenting your journey. You will only grow if you are genuine and true to yourself. You have a great mix of content already . Just think of the next car as the next stepping stone and making new memories.
I think you should keep the DSM you have put your heart in that car....I think your channel is great have been watching it for over a year now and like all your content keep it up
Everything you literally said is what we wanna see on the channel even those motivational speeches you be giving time to time when you just sit there & talk to us! Like I said never been a fan of a Mitsubishi eclipse but you made me love yours! I truly love that car like if it was mine
Best option sell the dsm. And use it to build the evo more or buy another car and build that and repeat the process. You can always down the road buy a beat up dsm and redo the whole thing and better since you have more knowledge on it.
Ultimately it is up to you as it is your channel. I found this channel because of your eclipse (I was either going to buy an eclipse or an integra) but I subscribed for you and your content. Which ever car you end up selling will be sad but there is so much money that you have so I can’t blame you. Now if you start slinging videos like a girl shares her only fans I will gladly watch. Keep up the good work!
I come in and out of your channel To see the progress on you GSX To see it all sorted out and running well You should keep it. Cause to find another And start from bottom is really hard As life kids and all that’s comes with that Will make it almost impossible to do it Again, this is advice from someone that Has a non finish 1999 GSX sitting in garage With baby 👶 duties. And it took me 15yrs After I parted with my 99 GS-T to finally Get her back!!! Think 🤔 carefully they don’t Make this anymore. Have a good one Miguel.
I'm a huge fan of the Evo' Series, an Evo 3 GSR is my all time dream car & The 8 FQ400 is in close second. I do genuinely believe you should keep the DSM and Part with the Evo though, I've fallen in love with your Eclipse through a screen! So I can't imagine the love you have for it. KEEP THE ECLIPSE.
Honestly bro, that car is what finally got me stoked to work on my dsm again and bring it back to the level yours is at. That being said, I also know how hard it is to split your focus/resources across multiple platforms and it's not fun. I'm always going to say keep it but I'd understand if you didn't. Also you don't post videos that don't entertain me, just do you man 🤘
I enjoy all of your content and I’ll support regardless but I do really enjoy the dsm content a lot and your Chanel is the plethora of dsm content for me
I watch for the dsm stuff,i have a dsm it was my first car and your the main reason that inspired me to keep it and build it,also the fact the most people live to regret selling there first car.i say keep the dsm builds take time and to give up the dsm would be like giving up a part of the channel.
I would honestly sell the evo, your DSM is so unique and different. Honestly I think its what helped boosted your channel and not only that, helped the DSM community. The DSM videos are the only ones I watch if I had to be brutally honest.
I get that, I'm in the same boat with one of my projects. Off topic tho, I feel like it's a mk4 supra you're getting lol. Most 2g owners either get an evo or mk4, you already have an evo and the other eclipse.. sooooo, ill put money on that 😜
Cualquier camino que escojes, siempre voy a ver sus videos. I don't follow you because you got an evo, dsm, cool stuff, etc.. I follow you because you genuinely care about cars and the car community. Echale ganas Miguel!
I have my DSM I bought when I was 17 still in my garage. Have almost sold it many times but could never bring myself to do it, and I am happy that I never did. I have a son now and would be really cool to pass down to him something that will be an antique when he is able to drive. Little bit of a different situation than you but I definitely know how you're feeling.
The DSM is what brought me to your channel, but I'll keep watching if you sell it. On the the other hand, I know what it's like to sell a car that means a lot to you. There's one car I used to have that I always wish I still had, it sucks but you will get over it as time passes.
Whatever you decide brother, I’ll support you 100%. Your content is quality. Your channel WILL get bigger. We loyal fans will stay and watch your builds. 👏
Your Chanel is all about the dsm but if you got rid of it and moved forward with something else I wouldn’t be disappointed. I’m always tuning in no matter what you post 💯 🔥
Don't sell it. It suits you in every way, it's even part of your name. The combination of you as a person, that car and your story with it is what made me subscribe and keep up with your channel (whether it's DSM content or not). Your other projects are cool as well, but this one is core. Sometimes you need to move on, but sometimes you gotta hold on to what you got. Best of luck Miguel.
I figured a wild supra had appeared before you even went into details. We need an established character in this next chapter of the wildebeest we call a Nissan. Do a mass monetized content dump of any and all content, I think you can count on a lot of us to be here for all that. All of the DSM's kept me here I know that much....at the same time idk who's not trying to see this unicorn of an opportunity come to fruition. Regardless I'm down for the ride
Hold on to this beaut, you put so much effort into it. You can definitely take a break but to part with it is too tough. I had a junky 90s mitsubishi (lancer wagon were never sold stateside but i didn't live in the states when i had it) i was attached to( still am), just waiting for the time to acquire one again to build
For me ive had a couple of cars that ive made amazing memories with but something you learn is that your not done making memories make new ones fun ones if you have to get rid of something to make fun happy memories do it you got your whole life ahead of you to make them make it count!!!
Contents I want to see from you is just your life and what you feel like putting out. I just enjoy every video you put out. Even if that means to sell the dsm for a new car that’ll put you in the spotlight.
Sentimental value is priceless imo if you have any hesitation to sell it, I wouldn’t. If it makes sense financially and you care more about the new build then go for it. You could technically build another one. Although you want to build the evo, you might be inclined to sell it instead of the dsm; I’d be content with what you have but it’s better to move forward in some situations. I’m gonna guess the new build would bring a broader audience but I feel like the majority of people are here for the dsm
@@MiguelDsm You’ve gained a good following with just the evo and dsm. You pick up a gtr or mk4 supra and you stand to gain a bunch of clout. The r35 has proven potential but the content for them is saturated from what I’ve seen. A bunch of big TH-camrs have them and modified them but they’re great cars nonetheless. You’d have to do something crazy to stand out, just like you did with the dsm regardless of what you decide to buy
For what its worth, everyone I know that sold their first project car either lived to regret it, or found a way to buy it back. Good luck as you make your decision.
Exactly! The only reason I watch and found this channel is because I miss my first build which was a silver 97 eclipse. Nearly 20yrs later and I still regret letting it go
I've been exactly where you are several years ago. Had to let my B3 Passat VR6 go. Amazing car when it was running, which wasn't very often, unfortunately. Parts were hard to come by at reasonable prices. Wound up selling it to a mechanic who parted it out. That said, if you do sell, this masterpiece deserves to be sold to a true enthusiast who will preserve it instead of some would-be racer who'll trash it or someone who will just try to flip it.
The eclipse has sentimental value to you, that can't be replaced. Could the Evo hold a higher selling value down the road, yes, but again could you live with your decision? My 93 I own right now was my first full rebuild I ever did, caused the most headaches but I love it too much to ever let it go! It taught me a lot that I will never forget! The decision is yours.
I say keep what you have, you’re in a position where both of your car’s Evo and Eclipse are a investment at this point. You have plenty of value for both and will only continue to rise. Evo 9’s are aging like fine wine under good condition of course, and your GSX is just by far one of the cleanest dsm’s in the planet. I would say to take some time and think about how you can upload more frequently bring the new whip to the channel and even if the upgrades take longer then you would want, as long as the content keeps coming especially with a new platform. That smells like money!! And you get to keep what you’re passionate about.
I’d wanna see more POV drives & overall just working on your builds but if I had to voice my preference in what you should keep I’d pick the evo, but let’s be honest drive and buy/sell whatever makes you happy bro remember you worked hard by yourself to get these toys !
That is my dream car, I say keep it. It’s hard to find one that is in good shape now. People are beating it up like crazy. And that car is one hell of a sight to see.
I truly understand how u feel. I think we spoke on building my 3g with the evo parts you had installed n the 2g. I promised I wouldn’t get rid of my ride unless it became a beer can. So id get rid of something else but I understand you want to grow an move on. Maybe I’ll do the same but knowing me. I’d buy the damn thing again an do it all over again. It feels good to hit car meets an to have that only one eclipse 3g that’s not riced out an actually has Bolt ons. Good luck
Life is short, and there’s a lot of cars to have and experience. So i understand what you’re saying, even though i think it’s a shame that the eclipse is the car you’re considering selling since it’s such a special car. Cheesy as it sounds, just follow your heart, as long as you’re enjoying what you do nothing else matters✌🏼 good luck on your decision😁
Its really up to you, but honestly I feel like that car is a part of you. Its been through so much and its so unique that id call it one of a kind. Id honestly rather sell the evo than gsx. You made me myself get a 98 Gs as my first car with that beast and honestly it would be a big shame to see it go, but i definetly get why you are considering it. All i can say that we will support you either way. Looking foward to the F&F vid!
Honestly dude just follow what tells you what’s right! If you gotta sell the car that’s your choice the loyal subscribers will follow you and stick with you no matter what you choose, keep on doing you man! But car shows would be nice to see
If I was in your shoes. I would cherish the memories with the car, but there comes a time when you get an extremely good offer and you get to learn new content and new builds along the way. I would sell the car and keep the channel moving forward and who knows one day, you’ll get it back and fall back in love with it all over again!
Miguel just sad to hear that you selling the car but whatever car you choosing I will support you I really like the videos you put up they're really entertaining 👍👍👍
I just sold my GSX for way more than I ever thought I could get for it. Keep the EVO and sell the Eclipse if the offer is right. The memories will never die, you will always have photos. Most of these people commenting reminds me of myself, I would have never thought I'd sell my Eclipse, it was my first dream car. Life goes on and we gotta grow with it. As far as content, all your videos are cool in their own way. People just like to watch someone and get to know them along with the content. You do a really good job of putting us on your shoulder as you live your life.
I guarantee if you sell it you will regret it dude. Any content on this channel is always great coming from a Honda guy. But in all reality the ultimate decision is your's man, if you think its time to part with the dsm to help start another build do it up. All in all I'm sure I can speak for everyone subbed to this channel, we will all stick around no matter what homie!
I would say keep the eclipse. Im 17 and i drive a 99 Eclipse Gs 10th anniversary edition and i would love to build it like yours. I would like to see some more racing on the channel but ill watch no matter what. Hands down favorite youtube car!
Stay with the DSM Bro plz. It's were ur heart its at. It's what we know you by DSM for life. Sell the evo or something else their ain't to many DSM Left. Stay With the DSM bro, much love much support to you bro. I even want to cry by seeing ur emotions throughout the video bro.
This car is amazing and been pleasure to watch you build but I think you should step out your comfort zone and challenge yourself to a new platform. It would be dope to see this car stay with you but unfortunately we don't live in a perfect would and if you part ways with it your OG fans will understand! Cant wait to see the new build.
Idk about everyone else but that car is one of the major reasons I came to the channel and I would be very sad to see it go. Even though the problems keep stacking up, the car is a big part of this channel in my eyes.
Idc what car content you post I’ve enjoyed it all. but the dsm build was the reason why I watched you. maybe sell the Evo?
Pls keep the dsm and the evo

If you listen to your videos, you'll catch yourself giggling when driving because you genuinely enjoy it!
ALSO, you're my #1 person I go check on TH-cam first for allllll dsm repairs and little changes. You helped me change my stock deck to an atoto touch screen deck lol :)
This car will always be special to me. Even if I don’t keep it. I’ll see though :/
We want to see everything!! Keep the cars. Add onto your collection dont let go of them
I want to see a how you build the 420a Dsm
Just keep on going you and documenting your journey. You will only grow if you are genuine and true to yourself. You have a great mix of content already . Just think of the next car as the next stepping stone and making new memories.
I think you should keep the DSM you have put your heart in that car....I think your channel is great have been watching it for over a year now and like all your content keep it up
Do what makes YOU happy bro
I come in and out of your channel
To see the progress on you GSX
To see it all sorted out and running well
You should keep it. Cause to find another
And start from bottom is really hard
As life kids and all that’s comes with that
Will make it almost impossible to do it
Again, this is advice from someone that
Has a non finish 1999 GSX sitting in garage
With baby 👶 duties. And it took me 15yrs
After I parted with my 99 GS-T to finally
Get her back!!! Think 🤔 carefully they don’t
Make this anymore. Have a good one
Miguel.
VR4, SHHHHH
Do it all don't sell yourself short bro you can do it!!!!! Best of luck!
Honestly bro, that car is what finally got me stoked to work on my dsm again and bring it back to the level yours is at. That being said, I also know how hard it is to split your focus/resources across multiple platforms and it's not fun. I'm always going to say keep it but I'd understand if you didn't. Also you don't post videos that don't entertain me, just do you man 🤘
Thanks for the input Irving
here to watch 2g stuff
I still want to build the evo tbh
I get that, I'm in the same boat with one of my projects. Off topic tho, I feel like it's a mk4 supra you're getting lol. Most 2g owners either get an evo or mk4, you already have an evo and the other eclipse.. sooooo, ill put money on that 😜
Cualquier camino que escojes, siempre voy a ver sus videos. I don't follow you because you got an evo, dsm, cool stuff, etc.. I follow you because you genuinely care about cars and the car community. Echale ganas Miguel!
This car is why I subbed to the channel
I have my DSM I bought when I was 17 still in my garage. Have almost sold it many times but could never bring myself to do it, and I am happy that I never did. I have a son now and would be really cool to pass down to him something that will be an antique when he is able to drive.
Little bit of a different situation than you but I definitely know how you're feeling.
Let it go if you truly want to elevate your passion.
Beautiful car brotha. All the hard work and time involved id keep for sure.
I love the build videos idc what car you're working on
Your Chanel is all about the dsm but if you got rid of it and moved forward with something else I wouldn’t be disappointed. I’m always tuning in no matter what you post 💯 🔥
Miguel just keep doing you bro
Don’t sell it man you’ve put to much love into it it’s one of a kinda and true to you never let that go.
GTR.... said it here first!!.. but the DSM is how i found your channel
For me ive had a couple of cars that ive made amazing memories with but something you learn is that your not done making memories make new ones fun ones if you have to get rid of something to make fun happy memories do it you got your whole life ahead of you to make them make it count!!!
Dream car 😍😩🤤
If you do sell it, I hope who ever buys her will appreciate and use to the fullest potential 🙂
Contents I want to see from you is just your life and what you feel like putting out. I just enjoy every video you put out. Even if that means to sell the dsm for a new car that’ll put you in the spotlight.
Keep it..
50/50 right now
Sentimental value is priceless imo if you have any hesitation to sell it, I wouldn’t.
That’s my exact situation. Most people are here for dsm content but I’m ready to expand into other platforms
Well put
Exactly! The only reason I watch and found this channel is because I miss my first build which was a silver 97 eclipse. Nearly 20yrs later and I still regret letting it go
agreed
Yeap and it happened to me now I have it back and in very poor condition 😔
@@Mrgasmany damn at least you were lucky enough to get it back ....close call
I think you cover everything on your channel. Add more build stuff and it would be perfect
My favorite eclipse wow. Saw your eclipse on IG and it led me to your channel
😌 You started doing what you have to do
The eclipse has sentimental value to you, that can't be replaced. Could the Evo hold a higher selling value down the road, yes, but again could you live with your decision? My 93 I own right now was my first full rebuild I ever did, caused the most headaches but I love it too much to ever let it go! It taught me a lot that I will never forget! The decision is yours.
Thats the hard part. Holding on due to it being my first build
Bro keep the dsm I love your car so much and man I like every video do more of u and friends mobbing around in y'all's dsm working on them
New content is cool too.
NSX ❤️
A vr4 maybe?
That is my dream car, I say keep it. It’s hard to find one that is in good shape now. People are beating it up like crazy. And that car is one hell of a sight to see.
Ahh man.
Well, you know you will do what is best for you.
Thanks for another video.
Is the new car a 3000gt ?🤨
Nope 👀
Is it German or Japanese or American ????
@@maui3302 in another comment he said it’s German
Honestly dude just follow what tells you what’s right! If you gotta sell the car that’s your choice the loyal subscribers will follow you and stick with you no matter what you choose, keep on doing you man! But car shows would be nice to see
If I was in your shoes. I would cherish the memories with the car, but there comes a time when you get an extremely good offer and you get to learn new content and new builds along the way. I would sell the car and keep the channel moving forward and who knows one day, you’ll get it back and fall back in love with it all over again!
I would hate to see it go Miguel but sometimes you have to make sacrifices to grow... 👏
Do whatever you like man. If your happy that’s all that matters
But as for the channel, whatever you get your hands on and you wanna build you have support on here
Stay with the DSM Bro plz. It's were ur heart its at. It's what we know you by DSM for life. Sell the evo or something else their ain't to many DSM Left. Stay With the DSM bro, much love much support to you bro. I even want to cry by seeing ur emotions throughout the video bro.
Build another dsm 🙌🤞
This car is amazing and been pleasure to watch you build but I think you should step out your comfort zone and challenge yourself to a new platform. It would be dope to see this car stay with you but unfortunately we don't live in a perfect would and if you part ways with it your OG fans will understand! Cant wait to see the new build.
Idk about everyone else but that car is one of the major reasons I came to the channel and I would be very sad to see it go. Even though the problems keep stacking up, the car is a big part of this channel in my eyes.
Also, I'm a fan of the pov and fixing/new parts videos
