After 5 years with pieces sitting in my yard in the PNW covered in slugs and moss and all sorts of green (I had health issues), i watched this video and FINALLLLLLLLY put this sucker together. Some pieces had to be knocked back into place after getting walked on and run over. THANK YOU. My Princess Jeep is covered at long last.
Thank you for your video. It was very helpful! Your method of recording is very straightforward to the point, and allows us to watch your exact steps as you explain them. Great job! I’m about to tackle this project myself.
I have 3 of those form Costco lasted about 7 years before the fabric disintegrated from the heat and cold. Climate not all that bad in West Central California, Bay Area. The steel frame will last forever. Just wondering how long your fabric lasted?
This will fly away in a good windstorm of not properly anchored. Happened to my dad the whole thing literally was picked up and blew into the neighbors backyard behind him
This video is very helpful but PLEASE kill the music, or at least turn it way down. You speak in a quiet voice so I had to turn the volume up, then the music would blast. Again, I appreciate the video and I know it will be helpful.
what the hell is the purpose of a car canopy if you are going to have to take it down in inclement weather. it should just be called a sunshade.....which destroys them anyway....
currently this is 238.99 at my Costco... been going up since Feb I guess. Whats the risk of using this for winter (because I need to store a car and have no garage?) (and I mean real risk, not just a random opinion) Thanks!
Bottom line. If you getting howling wind ( once or twice a year) where you live if you want to throw away your money and waste your time putting up these so called canopies, by all means go ahead. If you just want to cover your car from blazing heat and or snow there are other simple ways to do that.

they don't tolerate wind at all. and unless you get one with UV protection the sun will destroy them in a couple of years or sooner.
its a waste of time and money....
Costco
Does anyone know what the brand name of this canopy is?
The closest I can get to a manufacturer is Zhengte thru ZhengteUSA.com but no English support there.
