Did you ever dig into the stealth/sound/difficulty modifiers of the abandoned bunkers by any chance? Im looking to make them more difficult to control the stupid amount of loot thats coming out of them.
You're welcome. Although with the recent update in December, there have been some problems with puppet spawning. I don't think the AB settings are affected, but just something to be aware of.
hello, im looking for the bunker puppet settings but i dont see it anywhere ingame, did they remove it in 0.95 or ?? i may be just blind but i dont see it under world/bunkers or world/npc
They did remove some settings. We are expecting an updated document on settings the dev are suppose to release tomorrow. There are 4 AB settings available ingame, in the Server Settings UI, under the World Tab, the sub category of Bunkers. The settings available are commotion threshold, commotion per player extra threshold, activation threshold, and activation per player extra threshold. The puppet max and min and all the other puppet amount settings have been removed at this time.
Hello! I rent a server on G-Portal, sometimes server participants violate the rules set on the server, open locks on doors, destroy other people's cabinets and drawers. Can you tell me which magazines to watch or in some other way I can see what the players were doing in my absence? Thanks!
Are you running a PVE server or PVP server? If your are running a PVE server then you have set the settings that prevent players from picking other players locks or doing base damage. If you are running a PVP server, but want to control when players are allowed to Raid other people’s bases, then you’ll have to switch the same setting to prevent players from locking picking other players locks or damaging bases when you don’t want them to. Bottom line is, you can’t see everything all the time but if you have rules set and they are not being followed either your settings are wrong or you have a bad people in your communicate that need to be banned.
Thanks for the quick response! We have a PVE server and hacking is disabled in the settings. But some bad guys are playing on the server and doing dirty tricks. Maybe they use cheats. I want to find out who it is. Where can I look in the logs of what was happening on the server to block them?@@NordwulfLive
I am not familiar with Gportal, but in Pingperfect we have a file manager section for log files. There you can look at gameplay logs, violation logs, kill logs, etc. You can read through them and see if you can make find someone doing something specific that stands out. However, you are better off spending some time logged in as invisible drone mode and follow some players around, see what they do. Otherwise you will be randomly searching days of logs, hoping to find something. If you still are having trouble with bad players, I would suggest you create a discord specifically for your scum server, set your scum server to white listed only. Then only approve the players you want there. Running your own server successfully demands your time, and part of that time is spent checking on on your community and see what they are up to.
hi Sir, I'm currently renting a multiplayer server from Nitrado, I can't seem to add the removed vehicles like SUV, pickup truck and etc. Could you perhaps assist me on this?
I’m not familiar with Nitrado, but I can tell you that at this time there are no SUV or Pickup trucks in the game. The developers are working on turning them into modular vehicles like they did with the Laika and Wolfswagon. They are almost done with the Pickup trucks so we should be seeing them soon.
There isn't a disable puppets settings, and I am not certain if you can set the min and max for puppets in AB to 0. But if you wanted to try, you would have to change the value for the following two settings: Setting_AbandonedBunkerPuppetBaseCountMin and Setting_AbandonedBunkerPuppetBaseCountMax
@@NordwulfLive Thank you @NordwulfLive - I thought about the same variables to modify. Just I have not idea what values should work here. E.g there is -1 by default for the first parameter, which from what I found in the internet stays for number of 7 zombies. Does it mean that if I set the value to -8, it will be 0 for regular or any puppets? I have no idea... Why gamepires didn't implement it with literal values, stays a mystery for me.
@@darthkroolik4588 Yeah this has always been a issue for me also, they have a very odd standard set. So this is what I have understood: they use "-1" as a default variable (placeholder) and that variable is set somewhere else in their code with an actual default value (in this case "7"). To your question regarding using -8, that will not work. As no negative numbers will be recognized. The number you put in should be 0 to 150, and I can only assume that 0 will be no puppets (have not tested that yet tho). And if you want to set it back to their default value, then you set it to -1, which seems to be the same default variable they use through out their settings.
@@NordwulfLive So I will try with 0 value for Min and 0 for Max. It should reflect with none regular zombies spawning in AB, while razors and mr brenner still will be there for my pleasure. This is what I want to gain :) I will let you know if it took the expected effect.
