- So I've been thinking about what it would be like if I were a Pokemon Gym leader. But not just for one type...I'm talking ALL of them! So today I'll be going over what it's be like if I were a Fairy Type Pokemon Gym Leader!

I personally love the idea of paying homage to the old fairy tales and the Black Forest. Too few people these days remember that fairies weren’t always cute and smiley. They were Dangerous, in many cases.
As for the next Gym Leader challenge, while each type has some great options, I’d personally like to see your take on a Bug Gym. They went from one of the worst types (Gen. 1) to actually pretty darn good. Sure, many Bugs are weak and maybe even boring, but the others are Strong. Just look at Unova and Alola.
I like your ideas about making gyms more of an “experience”. I wish pokemon games did more of this instead of very basic movement puzzles. They should be more like instances in an mmorpg. Great job!

An off the board fairy type gym puzzle idea could be to make it a fairy tale themed puzzle. Would be kind of hard to work out if the gym trainers have to use fairy types. That being said, my fairy team would definitely include Sylveon, Tinkaton, Togekiss, Alcremie, Clefable, and to really annoy challenges, but also kind of fit with the fairy tale theme, run Iron Valiant as the ace.
As for the next gym typing, how about the Fire type
I like the butterfly aesthetic of Valerie and I would most likely keep that to an extent but then it also misdirect people into thinking I'm a bug type gym leader
I'd say GHOST next. Just to keep up with the prankster like theme atm. Plus, DARK, FAIRY, and GHOST have the most prankster-like Pokemon among them and would be nice to get them out of the way.
Since it kind of relates to Fairies, how about Dragons next? That could be a lot of fun.
If I were a Fairy-Type gym leader, my gym would be set up like a funhouse. My team would have Gardevoir, Sylveon, Grimmsnarl, Iron Valiant, Mimikyu and Primarina. My Badge would basically be a shooting star

Also I like how your full team almost has a magical forest theme with clefable (just a fairy, plus with magic guard), whimsicott(just a woodland fairy), grimsnarl(goblin), and sylveon (just magical overall)
I think instead of tinkaton you should use hatterene, since it's a witch and is still strong and instead of Azumarill you should use Mimikyu, since like you it is very mysterious
I like this gym, I only think the idea is more fitting for the psychic type. Now I am curious what you would do for the psychic type

Because of how many healing Pokémon are fairy-types, my gym would be at a medical school. The puzzle would involve using the right moves to "heal" mock patients.
And I'd have Iron Valient.
My Fairy Gym would be 2nd Gym. The gym leader would be a body builder in an actual work out gym. The gym leader is a late 20s muscle dude, think 80s instructor. Short short, tank top, curlyish mullet brownish blonde hair, high socks. (Think prof. saguaro meets billy from stranger things)

If the average showdown player was a fairy gym leader it would just be 6 zacians
I would ideally be an Electric Type gym leader,but if I was a fairy type gym leader I would have Azumarill,Slyveon,Shinotic,Gardevoir,Mimkyu,and my ace Togekiss.
If I was a Fairy-type gym leader, my gym's puzzle would incorporate a fairy fountain (ala Zelda) and you have to traverse the gym following clues given by the other trainers to find the specific item the leader requires, which would be presented to the fairy fountain and if correct, the gym leader will emerge from it, and the item would be different across save files.
As for my team, this gym would be gym 7 and would have the following: Azumarill, Togekiss, Clefable and Gardevoir
The rematch team would consist of Azumarill, Togekiss, Clefable, Mimikyuu, A-Ninetales and Gardevoir.
Sylveon, Togekiss, and Clefable are my only best Fairy-types in my list.

Man, am I glad I found this series when there's only two episodes so far. This is definitely an interesting idea, I'm looking forward to the other types!
I would also have sylveon as my ace and I think my gym would be sort of a paradise of fairy tales with different rooms with various biomes each representing the lore behind the pokemon in my team. In this room there would probably be a challenge to face maybe quizzes too depending on the room. The main goal would be to collect pieces from each room to recreate a tiara which will give the challenger the opportunity to battle me.
This would be such a challenging gym and I’m all for it!
I love how the outfit seems to be based on decidueye!
Awesome job. Really nailed the fairy gimmick. Now finish of the trio with the psychic type! And as for My Fairy Gym? Id probably go all in on illusions and spooky noises. Probably have a set of Zoroark help set up the illusions.

I think we could start another thing with one video typing being weak to the next. Therefore, we could do Steel or Poison and I think we should do Poison because that has less types it's good against. Also, Poison is just cool
As a Fairy Type specialist since Gen 6, I like the team and creativity of your gym.
My gym theme is similar in terms of a magical forest, but mine is more fairytale oriented with a castle at the end of the path. I take on the role of a Prince with my ace Pokémon as my literal knight in shining armor.
As for my team, I wanted to incorporate all the current gimmicks from megas to terrastalize.

- Grimmsnarl (Gigantamax)
- Tinkaton (Dark Tera Type)

If I can't use paradox pokemon, then I'd have Tinkaton without its tera Type, and my ace would be Gallade with the Fairy tera type.
Fairy type is my favourite type, therefore i’d definitely be a fairy type gym leader. The pokemon i’d use are Clefable, Gardevoir, Azumarill, Grimsnarl, Sylveon and my ace being Tinkaton 💖

I'd be an Ice-type gym leader, I know they are like glass cannons but they have some good mons to pick. Swinub would be my base to start and expand from there depending on which numbered gym leader I am.

Dragons next please, if we're taking about opposites, this will fit. Because last time we did something like this it was kinda turned off because of 1-sided types like dragon and electric types. See with Dragon types coming after fairy we can then proceed to ice types, followed by flying types, then electric types and then ground types. After this specific selection of types we've successfully taken care of the pain in the ass types.

I 100% agree the gym teams should be randomized to make it more challenging. It would make nuzlockes nightmares, but even more exciting.
People seem to forget that actual faries are messed up and mad petty most of the time
I kinda like the idea of moving them along by association like you did Dark and Fairy. So, maybe Poison or Steel next? In all honesty, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the bug type.
If I were a Fairy-type gym leader that could use a full team of six, I would consider running Primarina, Togekiss, Mimikyu, Shiinotic, Gardevoir, and Mawile as my ace. If I couldn't have Primarina on my gym team, then I would use Azumarill instead. This would also be my team in post game rematches.
If I were a Fairy-type gym leader that could be faced earlier in the journey, I would consider using Granbull, Ribombee, Dedenne, Dachsbun, and Azumarill as my ace.

Ooh, making a Fairy Type Gym is going to be fun
I'm going to take the One Piece route and have my gym underground, requiring trainers to figure out where the secret entrance is in my city. My trainers and I will dress up like dwarves.
Trainers will have to catch me as I use warp pads to teleport/"zip" around the room randomly. There will be items scattered across the gym, and each time I use a warp pad, I will either steal a nearby one for myself to use during the battle or throw out a new one
My gym trainers will also be using the warp pads and they will be trying to randomly teleport close enough to the challenger to start a battle.
My team will be Mimikyu, Klefki, Togekiss, and Gardevoir. My rematch team will have an additional Shiinotic, Alolan Ninetales, and Mega Gardevoir

I recall doing this for the Dark Gym, so here it is for the Fairy type.
(also, for the next type, why not do a Ghost Gym? I think you could get creative with that)
So for the design, I'd have some sort of clown aesthetic up my sleeve, but I wouldn't go FULL clown. The idea is that I'm supposed to be a sort of performer for my challengers, with a stage being where my challengers would face me, surrounded by fans of my work, so think more of a circus aesthetic.
As for the Pokemon I'd have on my team, I'm thinking that I'd have some random wacky picks to throw my foe off guard.
I'm thinking the full team of 6 would be:
Wigglytuff
Galarian Weezing
Kanto Mr. Mime
Granbull
Mawile
And Togekiss for my ace
However, that would be my rematch team. The initial bout would probably have 1 or 2 less Pokemon and be ANY of the Fairy types excluding the Legendary Pokemon specifically to keep my audience (and by extension, my challengers) on their toes. Think of it like a rabbit out of a hat trick, except instead of a rabbit getting pulled out of the hat, you get an obviously fake bomb one pull, then a flock of pidgeons the next pull, and a third being that the performer unexpectedly gets pulled into the hat and out pops something else. It's all part of the show, after all. Can't pull the same result every time or else your show gets old rather fast.
As for the badge, I'd imagine giving my challengers a badge with an image of a big top inside it. As for the TM, I'm thinking Moonblast or a new move that would be introduced (obviously Fairy type)

Let’s get a fighting gym
I always wanted to see a normal type gym leader with an Adaptability/Hyper Beam Porygon-Z as his ace. Or something insane like a Smeargle with Lock-On and Sheer Cold. Point being normal types have always been massive trolls and extremely powerful. We need a dad-joke cracking, completely normal dude with an insanely broken normal type troll team.
Instead of suggesting the next type I’d rather explain my version of being a fairy type gym leader and I’ll put in my version of dark type after rewatching it later today.
My gym puzzle would be a sweets themed gym where the gym challenger would have to search through the sweets to find the key to the next room while battling gym trainers along the way.
My ace would be Slurpuff unberden and sitrus berry belly dance sweeper. The rest of my team would include azumarill, Dachsbun, wigglytuff and rematch team would include gmax alcremie and mega mawile you can do the balancing and de-evolution for earlier gym position
My gym badge would be called the sundae badge
On second thought scratch the wigglytuff and replace it with clefable I’m saving the wigglytuff for the normal type video

Dragon type types are extremely rare, since the dragon type expert is usually saved for the elite four. I think it would be unique if for the dragon type gym, you were the first gym leader. This could catch players off guard if there is no indication of this until the player starts talking with you. Ofc ur not gonna pull up with a garchomp or nothing, but it could be a memorable early tough fight. I'd say you would start this gym battle a little later than normal (like milo) just to be a little more fair
If I was doing it, I would be a person who seems tough and scary, but is actually kind, respectful and a nice person to talk to (sort of like nanu from alola and voltner from sinnoh) they would use 3 pokemon, and they would be Axew, Noibat and Zweilous. Noibat and Axew represent the theme very well, and are also cute pokemon that turn into scary looking final evos. I think Zweilous is a amazing ace for this. First, it's typing makes sense as his/her ace and makes it so that it's not too hard to take down, bc of early bugs and fighting types helping with it. Plus it's atk stat isn't too high, it's not too fast and it's defenses are handlable. Also one of hydriegon's dex entries says that hydriegon is actually very intelegent, so with the right trainer it can be a force of good rather than evil.

If I'm a Fairy-type gym leader, the Gym's theme is a Magic School similar to Harry Potter's Hogwarts where the puzzles here magic portals in each room where one of them is fake since a trainer will appear and the portal disappear. The trainers here are Ace Trainers, who wore the same uniforms in Harry Potter, Veterans, dressed up as teachers, Psychics, dressed with shroud, and Hex Maniacs, who carries a doll of Mimikyu. Their Pokémon are Ralts lines, Mimikyu, Azurill lines, Sylveon, Shiinotic, and Impidimp lines. The gym leaders room is a magical library and I appear floating similar to Doctor Strange with a cloak. My Pokemon are Klefki, Grimmsnarl, Tinkaton, Sylveon, Togekiss, and Gardevoir. My Klefki is the first one to be dealt with but this is not an easy feat since it uses Torment and Thunder Wave to stall you by paralyzing your Pokémon and stop using the same move twice. Gardevoir is on her Mega Evolution and it has Hyper Beam to utilize its Pixilate which turns Normal-type moves into Fairy-type with damage boost. The Gym's badge design is a mgic seal and the TM is my spell book, Dazzling Gleam.
I do wish gyms had a team of six and we're more of an event type experience. I feel like that's what they were originally looking to be but didn't. They should be a big checkpoint and hurdle in your journey across a region.
Since you did fairy, can you do dragon or steal next please?
For my Fairy type team as a Fairy type Gym leader, I would have Dachsbun, Tinkaton, Sylveon, Azumarril, Togekiss & Primarina.
If I were a Fairy-Type Gym Leader, I would base my Gym on a Circus since it has bright colors, laughter, and entertainment. A lot of the trainers would be dressed like Circus performers and acrobats. When you reach me, I'd have a costume based on my Incineroar. Spoiler Alert! Incineroar would actually be Fire/Fairy type here since this region is based on the Midwest, and Incineroar has Circus Elements in his design for the region. As for myself, I'd use Sylveon, Gardevoir, and my ace, Incineroar. In this region, the Incineroar line becomes Fire/Fairy-Type, so Grass-Types Beware. Incineroar would look more like a clown. He'd have bright colors, a fiery tutu, and a tail made of balloons. Once you beat me, I would give you the "Showtime Badge", which looks like an oversized bow tie. If you have a rematch with me later on, I'd be in the same costume, only with Xerneas added to my lineup.
When I think of myself as a gym leader (dragon type) I would be challenging, ruthless in battle,but also encouraging to my challengers. their task would be to complete a parkour course while facing some dragon type pokemon along the way (like axew and goomy). During a gym battle, I would be rocking a teal scaly warrior outfit, similar to the one shang-chi's father wore in the movie. I would also have a weapon,a curve bladed saber with a mega stone on the pulmmel.
My fairy gym idea would be based on the dark side of fairy mythology. Pokémon like mawhile, grimsnarl, and mimikyu all would be on my team for sure. I’d use moves like draining kiss, forests curse, curse, hex, etc. the gym challenge would have you play hide n seek with up to 5 fairy tale girls wearing Pokémon masks, after you find/battle each one their mask will break off revealing they were under hypnosis. After you battle each one you’ll find me at a Pokémon graveyard and I’d battle you. Yes this gym is based on the Pet Semitary movies.
Could you do water next?
We could do Flying next.
I feel like if we get it out next, we can open up the diversity with other types.
It being so versatile in the game.

I love your gym setting, so i will using it as a base concept but i will make my pokemons disrupt/scare the challenger with "horribly enchoing cry" during the gym challenge..
As for the team i will make it double battle and i will have :
1. Primarina with Liquid Voice
2. Sylveon with Pixilate
3. Mega Gardevoir with Pixilate
All three of them learn of course a horribly enchoing cry "Hyper Voice"
And the last 3 pokemon will have support capability, Grimsnarl, Clefable and Alolan Ninetales
The TM of course "Hyper Voice"
The Badged is Voice Badged

My Fairy Gym, I’d put in the early game at between 1-3 (for the purpose of this explanation, I’m gonna say 2.) My gym will focus on children’s fairy tales, since it’s so early.
Challengers will come to my gym, and be greeted by a a trainer who appears to be a Pokefan or Breeder. They’re told that they arrived just in time for Story Time and are guided into the next room, where they sit on the floor in front of a small platform where a gym trainer is waiting with a book. The gym trainer reads a short story that features a Pokémon before said Pokémon appears and initiates the battle. If the challenger payed attention to the story, they’d learn the trick to defeating the gym Pokémon.
After defeating the trainer, they will excuse themselves because their time is up and another trainer will enter and repeat the process.
Once the challenger has defeated three trainers, I’ll enter with a big book in my arms and say something about the challenger being quite the reader and suggest they join our book club.
My team will consist of two pre-evolved fairy types: Impidimp and Ralts; with my ace: a level 16 Floette.
Victorious trainers will receive the Imagination Badge, which depicts an open book with a rainbow arching across the pages. They’ll also be gifted the Disarming Voice TM.
My rematch team would be themed like the darker side of fairy tales and include: Grimsnarl, Gallade, Florges, Mawile, Tinkaton, and Mimikyu.
Ghost next. It’s gained a ton of new representation this generation with Skeledirge and Annihilape.
My favorite Clefable with Magic Guard set I’ve ever run is Cosmic Power, Moonlight, Stored Power and Trick holding a Toxic Orb.

I think that your Gym and team idea was good and do either Ghost or Fire type next.

Next one steel gym leader pls. Jasmine and Byron are very weak gym leaders.
I would personally run a Shell bell on Azumarill. Especially if it has belly drum and huge power. Heals are based on the damage you deal to your opponent. Shell bell always brings me back to full hp after a belly drum boosted attack.
Moveset for me would be
Bulldoze
Belly drum
Liquidation
Play rough
Bulldoze for coverage and it's super effective against 3 out of 4 of it's weaknesses.
The forests in these new games don't hit the same as the old ones

Fairy would be the type I would like the most to be a Gym Leader for. My team would be Gardevoir, Togekiss, Primarina, Tinkaton, and ace Sylveon

If I was a Fairy Type Gym Leader, my team would be Galarian Weezing, Clefable, Whimsicott, Mr. Mime, Gardevoir and the main Pokemon is Grimmsnarl with Spirit Break. How about do Steel or Poison types for next video?
This is a great elite 4 or even champion team. A gym leader? Nah too strong
Gonna be honest your team is pretty bad whimsicott is entirely walled by dark types and honestly whimsi is pretty bad in singles so it should be dropped preferably for a mon that can hit steel types hard like babiri berry fire blast togekiss, tinkaton is entirely too weak and not that bulky either especially since you didn't even give it swords dance, I'd suggest replacing it with focus sash ribombee with sticky webs and make that the lead this way you fix one of mono fairies big issues that being their speed, heck even granbull would be better than tinkaton since it at the very least has intimidate support and can hit steels hard with close combat, azumarill is fine though I wouldn't suggest giving it leftovers, sitrus berry is better on belly drum sets, though I would also recommend not going for a belly drum set as azu is useful as a steel switch in and you kinda dont wanna cut your hp in half if you're switching into attacks additionally you wanna run superpower on it so that you can actually do some big damage to those steel types, clefable is also a fine mon though you may wanna use calm mind instead of protect so you can set up on stuff as clef can be a bit underwhelming offensively without set up you may also wanna use fire blast over flamethrower, as for sylveon if you do wanna run it at least give it mystical fire since that way it can at least do something to steels, maybe throw on a babiri berry so it can take at least one steel move, grimmsnarl is fine though I would recommend klefki above it since it has a better typing and also has prankster screens, as for gardevoir its overall fine though you absolutely should not run leftovers on it gardevoir does not at all have the bulk to make proper use of leftovers, life orb choice specs and choice scarf are all better items for it and I would suggest running either aura sphere or focus blast on it to hit steels
