It's not a Cod Killer, nothing is. The only thing that can kill Cod is Cod.
However it is pretty fun rn. Obviously it's way too early to form an actual solid opinion on it, we still need to see a meta form and how the game plays when people get better, but so far it's fun and refreshing.
Considering ubisoft, we can already form negative expectations lol

I did enjoy the gameplay, and some of the game design (level design and color was for sure a plus). Ubisoft can make this a CoD killer with strong support and having the replacement to the favorite game modes.
The game has a lot of potential but the movement needs some tweaks to feel smoother. It has a clunky feel at times.

Nah, it's not. And we all knew it. We just milked the manufactured hype for views. All content creators are to blame for blowing this shit up for no reason. There is no COD killer. And if there ever is one, it's not gonna look and play like this. xDefiant is a fomo game and that's pretty much it.

No SBMM is freaking awesome man! I had games that pushed me hard and some super easy games. Thats how it should be. Not always a sweat.
the games great BUT the hitreg is still an issue, i played for 3 hours today and died behind walls a good 40% of the time and had shots no reg way too often, not to mention portable shields.....they should never be in any FPS game, ever. oh AND a nifty glitch i had, when i slapped just the red dot on the M4, no other attachments, i went from 17 damage hits to 14 damage hits at all ranges, no explanation for this, issue carried across matches, i had to restart my game to fix it.
I really hope it comes to old console woukd love to try it

One of the things I like most about this game so far is the pacing. There's tons of action but somehow it also feels like you've got room to breathe which leads to less mental fatigue and I find myself just enjoying playing the game, regardless of how I do on a given round.
The division is my favorite franchise. I was pretty heartbroken over heartland. Im hoping thebresources go into developing division 3.
I love XDefiant and I cannot wait to see how it evolves throughout 2024.
Yknow what I want? Some depth of field, idk that goes a long way in making the guns in COD feel and look good. All the little details matter in a sea of FPS games

To tell yall the truth, nothing is killing call of duty. You need to do a lot to kill it. Like you need zombies mode, survival mode, campaign. The closest call of duty killer (IMO) is M.A.G. and crossfire the free to play game on pc.

Game is fun as heck. The server issues were frustrating at launch time, but other than that I've been having a blast on it.

It's no cod killler but its a fun game so far. I like the no prone , i like the maps, guns, ttk. But i think personally it needs a tdm, slightly faster, smoother movement, quicker weapon swap speed and quicker grenade equip and throw.
it feels actually pretty fast paced to me i like it.
All this game reminds me is just how much I did not enjoy Black Ops 4, and I don't know if there's a market for another game like it.

this game besides the issue with servers hit reg etc is just a average fast paced shooter with abilities (including wall hack ultimates). i don't see this lasting long

I really like this game.
If you enjoy a face paced, multiplayer type game. It's great, can def tell cod devs worked on it. I'm praying Delta Force: Hazard Zone is good. From what I've seen, its the closest thing to DMZ that has been developed to date. All other extraction shooters have def been based off tarkov. It's sad man, the ability to play/stream/watch DMZ content for so long, is going to be very hard to beat. Grey Zone got hype for a couple weeks, then people stopped playing it. With games like tarkov, gzw, etc. Once those initial missions are done, there's nothing else to do besides loot. They don't have those exciting interactions, funny moments, heart beating adrenaline like DMZ. And I know streamers are SOOO tired of hearing about it, whether they admit to it or not, they are. MP and BR style games are great, for the every day gamer at home. It's very hard to keep people engaged in watching it. Obviously the day is going to come, when we all have to suck it up and move on, streamer and viewers, all we can do is hope that something great comes along that gives us that same feeling we get every time we fire up our favorite game modes, and not just more of the same with a different name slapped on it. Besides, the game is doomed either way. If they don't provide constant updates and fixes people will lose interest, if it does do well Ubisoft will cash cow the sh*t out of it and put all its focus into monetising as many aspects of it as they can.

Honestly xdefiant is quite bad. TTK is too high, netcode sucks, theres very little content, aim assist is too strong, moevement is too fast, its ubisoft, the list goes on.
i do not think that xdefiant is a cod killer yet, that the time to kill is way too long which causes stacking to be a necessity to win gunfights other than that the guns feel really weak and the abilitys are relatively mediocre, so curently not a cod killer but it might be in the future

It’s basically Cold War with no content.
I like the look and feel of the game. Movement is slightly clunky, especially when sliding.
